Tigerite 319 Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) Going to be a very makeshift team for us up at Newcastle, with Josh and Dimitri in the final round of the World U21 Championship, Steady and Garrity probably still injured. So 3 guests and R/R. Newcastle will need a guest/R/R for Lambert as well. Edited September 21, 2016 by Tigerite

If we can win the home tie by twenty points plus we'll have a chance!

So what was the point of qualifying and then arranging a meeting to clash with another, what a crazy sport this is
Cue Ball 417 Posted September 22, 2016 So what was the point of qualifying and then arranging a meeting to clash with another, what a crazy sport this is Agreed - does seem strange timing with so many riders missing. That said, we forced Peterborough into riding last year when they (allegedly) had riders missing so don't suppose we can complain that much!
Cue Ball 417 Posted September 22, 2016 Fair play to the Rebels a very deserved win on the night. Not much more to be said

KEITH M 850 Posted September 22, 2016 (edited) ? So what was the point of qualifying and then arranging a meeting to clash with another, what a crazy sport this is Don't think Newcastle really wanted this date either but there are only 6 Sundays left of the season and Newcastle may need them all. Scunthorpe in league, Sheffield in play off, Rye House in K.O.Cup semi final, possible Cup final, possible play off semi final and possible play off final Edited September 22, 2016 by KEITH M
Dcb7 23 Posted September 22, 2016 Awful tonight, was always going to be. But to be fair, when you have two of the best riders in the league missing, its always going to be the case, speaking of which its about time we ( the supporters ) were kept in the picture regarding our missing riders. The Third Man 2,218 Posted September 22, 2016 Well what an embarrasment that was, we rode like the away team, no will to win, even giving a rider who scored no points four rides. most of our riders rode like they know they will not be here next year, just lucky to be going on holiday next week otherwise I might have been tempted to go to the Newcastle match and what did sissis have to to to get an extra ride tonight

But it was an abysmal effort by the Tigers considering it was a semi final. As for Arthur not getting extra rides, for me the reserves have been put in the wrong heats through most of the season by our team management, particularly at home, so it's no surprise he didn't get extra rides when he clearly should have done.
