damosuzuki 696 Posted October 10, 2016 Greyhounds are on the way out really, I'd have thought any new option would be better sharing with American football, or rugby or something.

Fromafar 10,436 Posted October 10, 2016 They always new it was short term but should have been looking for a new track but pretty sure they will get one more season at Armadale but you will struggle to get a new ground/track and get it ready for the following yearTheir efforts a couple of years ago have petered out,so don't think it will be easy to find land anywhere these days. cyclone 946 Posted October 10, 2016 Unlike Glasgow, where the Council appears to be supportive of retaining Speedway within the City, the bunch in Edinburgh, collectively, are more interested in so-called "cultural projects" and are hostile to any attempt to re-establish the Sport with their boundaries

mac101 1,204 Posted October 10, 2016 The late great Brian Gray managed to find a spot of land pretty quick when he started to get involved with Edinburgh and the Dale devils and I think had everything ready before he Sadly passed away wonder if it could still be of any use
