The thing is that the top 3 Swindon, Belle Vue and Wolves will all want Poole to claim the 4th place because they know the crowds will be better (especially at Swindon!!) for the play-off semi final and they also know they'll have a great chance of progressing to the final.

We don't stand a chance in the play offs should we make it. I am not sure the crowds will be that great either due to Poole's current woeful team.

The rules which is more likely to cost aces the title and is the really stupid one is the rule that said at the start of the season a 1.4 multiplier was attached but once the point limit dropped to 42 NO multiplier attached. The only possible logical decision was a multiplier of 1.2 to apply. Fair play to Swindon for taking advantage but musielak should have had an average 20% higher which would have stopped them making the swap they did.

This is, also, an area that needs looking at. Previously, any foreign rider could come to ride here on an assessed 5,6 or 7 average, then get a true average of around 4-5 then be dumped as not good enough. These riders then go home & ride in other leagues & improve, then get signed up 3 years later on a low average. Musielak & THJ are examples recently. Kings Lynn, also, signed a rider on a 4.90 average from the EL in 2013 even though he has since ridden in the EL as an EDR in further years & this year has a current CL average.

At the start of each season, every rider without a valid average from the previous season in the UK, who competed in a European league should be assigned a converted average that applies if they join the UK.

So as an example someone riding ekstraliga and averaging 8 might be assigned a conversion rate of 1.15 so would come in on a 9.2.

Easy to do and would be totally transparent.

Yes there would still be the occasional "bargain" but at least it would be clear to all.

Even by your usual standards thats one heck of a crap post.

Nice to see you keep calling it a horror track.

That phrase, as well as being total b0llox is a tad boring...........try and show a bit more intellect in your posts

And totally hilarious when you see the awful accidents at the real horror tracks like Poole and Leicester not to even mention the wobblers at Cardiff on and over course Kings Lynn (according to Troy and Holder).

Still its good to see the nonsense usual response.

Meant to have 'hit' an official (with his bike?).

Maybe someone will post the link.

COOK rode his bike off the track and through the pit gate (not allowed, as at Poole and BV for example) and had an altercation with an official who tried to stop him.

With Somerset entering the running for 4th spot, I would imagine they would also provide big crowds against Swindon home and away.

Be interesting the see what happens with Cook following this altercation....more than likely just a bit of handbags

Following Peter Oakes' report in the SS as well as in a national newspaper which puts more pressure on the BSPA to be seen to be doing something, has this sort of thing happened before involving a rider and official ? and what was the punishment?

Can't see BV being punished so should be a facility

I would have thought crowds would be bigger for Somerset as they are Swindon's nearest rivals

Well you'll be able to see for yourself Steve0 as it won't be Poole now.
