Polish Xtra/nice League Sunday 8th October Live On Tv

So they think Miedzinski's previous concussions are affecting his judgement, nothing to do with the pressure the Polish riders are under to perform?

IMO neither are mutually exclusive. Polish riders are under allot of pressure to perform but that doesn't mean that previous concussions doesn't affect the rider's judgement.

Repeated concussion can cause serious long time damage to the brain.'

There are a few threads about it (and similar topics) in the general section.

Two delayed round 7 Ekstraliga matches are being staged on Thursday night, 22nd:

Rybnik v Leszno

Czestochowa v Gorzow

Neither are being transmitted live but nsport+ are showing 30 minute versions of both matches later in the evening. Going on past performance they should both contain all 15 heats and will probably be uploaded to You Tube by Speedway For All later, probably during Friday.

The Rybnik match is at 21.35 UK time and Czestochowa at 22.05.

They are preceded and followed by a couple of speedway magazine programmes. One translates as 'Speedway, the other as 'Villain'. As if slag wasn't enough ;)

Added to this Eleven Sports have live coverage of Tarnow v Daugavpils, starting 18.00 UK.

Died rofling. Poland is where the prestige and the money is. It is NATURAL that theres high pressure there. Since riders ride for f*ck nothing in UK or Sweden all just take it easy. For example Dudek and Protasiewicz ride in sweden testing bikes lol. In Sweden lol. They'd not even bother to ride in UK lol.

You wrong again, they do go to the UK to wash dishes...

I love polish speedway and it will always be bigger simply due to its a national sport.

But I think riders will come back to UK one two accords.

1. Sweden is going bust slowly (crowds are low for them) (have even more struggles than us for getting young people interested) (have no young rider who is really that good, we have Lambert and the aussies boys will always be here if they want to live in Europe.

Swedish speedway is not sustainable.

2. These big sponsors turn up which the BSPA has said. The UK has one advantage to Poland and that is simply richer companies.

It takes one big sponsor and there could be a shed load of money in the sport.

Say if BT stays and someone big sponsors the league and so on it could be massive in terms of revenue.

But Poole has largest team sponsor name and thats about 80K hate to think what Betard pay for example. 800K if not more.

I think you are under pressure to perform in all of the professional sports speedway is no different i don't think its only Polish riders that are affected by it.
