Belle Vue V Wolves Mon 24/7/17

Recommended Posts

It seems the only passing is when riders have locked up (Smith), got out of control (Fricke).

Hope this gets better, very poor compared to what I've seen previously at the NSS.

I was thinking the same - very little passing so far.

YOU were saying ... nothing wrong with the track. It's the riders who have to make the most of it.

"So far" being the key part of my post there ;)

There hadn't been, that was much better.

The NSS has set such high standards I think we expect it most races.

Apart from Masters, Wolves look pretty slow in comparison, its a good track but you really have to be on top of the setups.

Thank god for heat 9. Proper racing at last.

Tungate is top notch tonight. He's the main difference with Bewley.

Absolutely correct. Both are doing the business big time.

WHY? Just because it is a great track, and it is, doesn't mean that riders who get ahead are going to be passed. They have every chance but if the man ahead rides better he will stay there. Nothing to do with the actual track.

Kenneth Bjerre couldn't pass Sam Masters. Blame the track

This is about halfway through young Dan's second season , there are clear signs here and watching him every week at Glasgow , the next jump in his career is imminent .

NO doubt that having Lawson as his mentor is a huge plus.
