Shaleshifter 177 Posted June 23, 2018 Monday brings the second trip of the season to the National-Stadium for the Pirates. With the Pirates massively underperforming away this season this has a big home win written all over it. Brady Kurtz and Josh Grajczonek are both struggling for points at the moment and the team is very weak. Kacper Woryna's form at reserve though is a small crumb of comfort and Richie Worrall and also Linus Sundstrom are going well. Looking to make the trip up on Monday bringing Steve Shovlar along with a stop off in Liverpool to the Beatles Muesum. Thoughts?
Beowulf 1,513 Posted June 23, 2018 With regard to Poole's chances, to paraphrase the Beatles, HELP ! 4

DC2 11,150 Posted June 23, 2018 Shovvy’s looking forward to Poole smashing the Aces. Gotta be 37-53 ain’t it Shovvy?

Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted June 23, 2018 (edited) Can’t unfortunately make the trip up for this one. Was looking forward to it but curcumstances see me elsewhere. Expect Belle Vue to win but Pirates should keep them honest. Edited June 23, 2018 by Steve Shovlar

Get well soon, Steve.

mikebv 10,342 Posted June 23, 2018 The Aces are massive underdogs in this one... If they can get anything out of it it will simply be down to the genius of Mark Lemon... Especially with the track being so incredibly consistently consistent... It's a real problem at the moment having both bends very similarly well prepared and the straights having no bumps.. The rivers Irwell and Mersey may also be at high tide around the time of the meeting but due to being so far away they will have absolutely no bearing on the track. This will obviously result in the home lads having almost no home advantage as they will be confused as to which one of the plethora of lines to take... Can only see one winner... (Sounds a bit like a Poole thread this)...
