Widespread complaints by supporters throughout the league Last winter - NL changes the rules restricting guests for 'any reason' to under 18s. Supporters respond positively Last night - new rule applies, fans start whinging. This is a typical case of fans wanting fairer rules until they apply to their club.
teaboy279 1,038 Posted May 18, 2019 Spot on Arnie, the rule was brought in to give more credibility to the sport. And stop riders missing there least favorite tracks so they can get in a track specialist guest...
BobC 664 Posted May 18, 2019 Plymouth management were very naive here. Should have got a sick note earlier in the week after the meeting at Kent. They said he came back there and clearly wasnt fit. Yes, it would have put Campos out for 7 days, but he could have been back in for the trip to Belle Vue on Thursday and at home to IOW of Friday. Definitely cost them a win last night. That was the difference

It’s a much fairer and legitimate rule now and brings the league’s in-line with the professional leagues above.
Jonnybegood 258 Posted May 19, 2019 In the leagues above , guests are allowed for all the heat leaders, National league guests for the number 1 only unless they are on championship duty.
00000 1,279 Posted May 29, 2019 See next match is off - no shale or is it the wrong sort of shale? BSPA should have long ago secured the source of really good shale - somewhere in the Coventry/Rugby area which served well for years. Bit of an own goal they let it slip away, like so much. pete cc 322 Posted May 29, 2019 Negative negative. I applaud any club who can admit that their track is not fit for use. It doesn't show the club in a good light but an honest one.

Quote by the promotion from the Devils Gladiators forum: This weeks meeting is cancelled, the clay hasn’t turned up at the track as yet , 10am Wednesday, I and i cannot guarantee that the track will be ready. I do not like to disappoint fans by not having a meeting , I also do not like disappointing fans with copious amounts of dust. Last week we had the local councillors in attendance to monitor and noise test the Quads, and was probably dismayed at the dust as was I. I have not been able to sort mixed shale, the only quarry producing quality shale at the moment is in Scotland, therefore I am awaiting pure ball clay and will endeavour to mix it myself and hopefully sort the problem . >>>SORRY GUYS .......Read more: http://plymouthdevils.proboards.com/thread/9872/gladiators-cradley-31-2019-cancelled?page=1#ixzz5pL6dBrA8
