00000 1,279 Posted August 3, 2019 Very strange start time. Would think a 2pm start would rule out most of Eastbourne's travelling support.

For a 5/6 hour journey, 300+ miles each way, I would have said it was an ideal time for the meeting!

Not really.Redcar agreed to start at this time on a Sunday so as not to impact upon the Newcastle fixture at 18:30.

If meetings at Stoke or Sheffield started at that time it would really suit me and i would make the effort and get to some. I rely on public transport. Anyway Redcar v Eastbourne..... Would think, that whatever the start time, would rule out, most of Eastbourne's support. Pity though, because I anticipate a close meeting, especially if Rich Lawson,is on his best Redcar form. Eddie Kennett, Lewis Kerr and Kyle Newman, aren't too shabby either, around the MPA.
ruckerroo 792 Posted August 4, 2019 I think redcar will be too strong , 52-

What about the riders & promotion that have to get there early & after having a Saturday night meeting. Football takes presidence, though.

parkendlass 102 Posted August 4, 2019 The Redcar Bears steamroller powers on. Excellent Maximum from Palm-Toft, now showing his best on his home track. Great debut from Erik, Charles....well, just Charles... top man. Well done Kasper, and the rest of the team supported. Hope Jordan not too hurt. UTB !!! 1
