On less than 8, thats an average he can improve easily

He just seems to put more effort in when riding for Sheffield imo

Scorpions have bought Jake Allen's contract from Somerset. To all intents and purposes Jake will be a Scorpion again next season.   Yes, yes, yes some good news to a poor season end for us.;)

Adam will tell you himself, he uses the same bikes for Scunny as he does for Sheffield.

In fairness, Adam was mainly brought in for away performances - however, the Scunthorpe track has been prepared very inconsistantley all season - and Adam's struggled to learn Scunny as his home track due to that and the fact that everyone can ride Scunny! I'd personally love to have Adam back next season if the rules allow

Although Adam could well be back at Poole where he was originally intended to be - especially as Pirates will be looking for a replacement for Rory Schlein!!?

Reading the interview in the meeting report sounds pretty nailed on that Simon Lambert will be back and hopefully will have Jake Allen alongside him having bought his asset

I imagine Jake Allen, Simon Lambert and Jordan Palin are all pretty nailed on... Also hearing rumours of Dan Gilkes being approached. If yous can retain Adam Ellis and Thomas Jorgensen...

Even if Dan Gilkes doesn't come off, looks like a typical Scunthorpe team, not bad though... Wonder if Josh Auty is gonna return?

1. Adam Ellis

2. Simon Lambert

3. Jake Allen

4. Jordan Palin

5. Thomas Jorgensen

6. Dan Gilkes

7.

I completely agree these big teams that win the leagues are brutal and have riders that are better than their average Simon probably isn’t given his average has gone up to 5.98 based off his home form

I don’t know how it’s going to work with Palin and his average and rising starts etc however I do know that Jordan Palin and Dan Gilles are good friends and there families are also very good friends so the move would fit he also rides the EWR very well noticed he was there yesterday practicing

I imagine that once the season is over that the rising star averages will be evaluated and put back into their respective categories, but I would suggest that because Jordan's average is so high that he won't be in a category at all, or at most 4 star, which cannot be used as reserves in the CL on current rules... So I imagine he'll be in the main body of the team.

Personally I rate Dan Gilkes VERY highly and think he's one of the brightest prospects we have, I have seen him practicing a few times recently and he just keeps on getting better and better, his physical control of the bike is so natural and extraordinary, I wish we could have him up at Newcastle... Easy a 5/6 point rider next season, especially if he can get on a track he rides well, wonder how Kent will feel though if they know that Rob is after him...
