You may have finished top but you were not the best team at the end of the season.  If Swindon had hit form as early as Poole, we would have finished ahead of Poole easily. Look at the match points of both teams, Swindon had a much higher points scored with less points scored against them.

Table is for the whole season not just at the end. And I did say we had bad form at the wrong time.

Maybe poor is harsh but i was pretty confident this Poole side would not win it out of the four teams left.Even with Covatti at reserve and R/R for Worrall for me you would of still come up short the main reason is that i believe Kurtz / Holder would do better at a different home track.

They might do and if Brady is off to BV then we sure will find out! Trouble is at Poole Brady is the no1 and at BV that will be Fricke, so less pressure = happy Brady!

Yes real bad calls. Like winning the league again last season.:)

We can name at least 8 riders over the last seven years that you have got wrong even changing riders and still getting it wrong.

That track will suit Brady down to the ground and like Max will be worth watching around the NSS everyweek.

T. Kurtz Howarth, Starke, Dyer, Strachya, Kennett, Starke , Newman, Andersson, Zengota, Lahti Watt ( last year)  often releasing riders at the wrong time and in some cases undeserving.

You weren’t in bad form at the end of the season. You finished in style winning at Kings Lynn (no other team had) and topped the table under huge pressure from the most in form team Swindon,

Poole were very much in decent form. It’s just 4 riders let you down when it mattered.

Sorry, you're wrong Brum. They were the 2nd team to win there, the Robins did it before them & in some style, a 4point win 39 - 51.

I still think that Zach will come good. I believe that his last speedway injury played on his mind. Batch had 2 bad seasons after his injury & then returned to form at Kings Lynn followed by  2 great seasons at the Abbey,  this year his average has gone up from 7.69 to 8.82. From what I can gather, Zach has been doing well in grass track this year.

I would say thats the same for most clubs over the course of the season................Poole usually get it right

This season though the finger needs to be pointed at those who made the decisions this season.

Worrall gets injured........Poole should have found someone to come in and then keep Covatti at reserve

Poole after winning matches and topping the league then decide to bring an over rated past his best rider in THJ ............who apart from the odd good ride was pretty useless...and forced Covatti in the 1-5 thus depriving Poole of a decent reserve who could step up if any of the top 5 were not performing.

Poole started the season with potential for 2 big scoring reserves.......and ended it with THJ and Wells who has been poor all season.................those decisions stop solely with the management...........

Its alright Poole fans blaming Kurtz and Holder but this season the loss of Worrall was not dealt with an ultimately left Poole ending up with the worst reserve pair in the league almost

The cameras at Foxhall didn't do justice to the crowd, I reckon about 2500 to 3000 were there on Saturday which I think is pretty good in this day and age.

There didn't seem to be any noise coming from the crowd through the television coverage on Saturday, which I'm sure wasn't the case. I thought the sound overall was odd on Saturday night - might have been the wine at my end I guess :drink:
