Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted September 14, 2021 This is going to be an absolute one sided farce of a meeting.

BartoszZmarzlikFan 491 Posted September 14, 2021 Lambert & Hampel missing is iffy. Never understood how Swedish club have the finances to build expensive sides.

Sponsors+ spectators. I also think most clubs expected the restrictions to be eased off earlier and that the spectators would return at that point but that latter have not happened in the extent the teams expected. As for the Polish teams/riders some teams like Smederna have not had any problems with fielding the team they want except for Loktaev who have had visa problems related to restrictions entering Sweden due to the pandemic. They have also not used Grigorij Laguta that much due to Woryna's success. Västervik and Dackarna have mostly used the riders they want but due to the SGP Thursday meetings have been problematic. So yes to some extent it's a bit strange that some clubs have no issues with their riders riding elsewhere but others have such huge problems.
Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted September 14, 2021 Rospiggarna won the first round with 48-42 but I think Vetlanda will be able to gain that on their hometrack.

Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted September 15, 2021 (edited) Smederna announced that will start at the away track in the semi final so that semi final series will be like this: 28 September ........... vs. Smederna 29 September Smederna vs. ................... Smederna says that the reason to why they chose to start away is that the Covid restrictions will be removed from the 29th. Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted September 16, 2021 No Hampel next week either, he is still being stopped by Lublin. Lejonen see it as a breach of contract and such they can fine the rider but they will have talk with Jarek first. Also Svemo track racing boss Mikael Karlsson had a talk with the Polish federation who apparently were "wondering" regarding how the Polish side was handling it (in English = we don't care). https://www.svt.se/sport/speedway/polska-stjarnan-kan-botfallas-av-lejonen
eric i 620 Posted September 16, 2021 I hope Lejonen go legal with this and have the backing from the Swedish federation.
