Will either side have any changes t the line ups ??

I am still hoping Scunny bring back Auty for Pijper.

I can see Scunny losing this, Redcar have got a team that will go well round Scunny. With Poole and Leicester still to come we need Auty to stand a chance of making the play offs.

I know people say win your home games first but we would struggle to win anything else away.

At Glasgow - never know, lightening might strike twice but doubtful

Plymouth - small track probably not suit riders

Poole - doubtful

Redcar - possible point but depends on their team changes

Kent - another tight(ish) track plus their addition of Batchelor, doubtful

Auty only scored 22 points from 16 rides at home with his struggles.

Seen that it’s R/R for Aarnio however he has the same average as Jorgensen how does that work ? Does it count as the one above or what. Thanks in advance

Interesting meeting tonight with our northern friends ,Scorpions using R/R for Tero Aarnio who is on Finnish duties .So can someone explain who can get the rides as it’s usually one above and anyone below  and our top 3 are

Adam Ellis.    7.92

Tommy Jørgensen 6.90 & Tero Aarnio 6.90

identical averages so what happens there is it every one can have a ride or Ellis misses out on a ride ??

Discussed recently in the context of Harris and Nicholls at Peterborough.

Jorgensen is listed above Aarnio, so either:

1)   going to 3rd/4th decimal place Jorgensen is above Aarnio, or

2)   their averages are identical, in which case the previous month's GSAs apply and Jorgensen is ranked ahead of Aarnio because of their July averages (6.91 v 6.85).

Either way, the conclusion is that Ellis doesn't get an R/R ride.

Well  rider replacement makes this one even harder to predict and could go either way. Jake and Tofty may well scupper our chances and we need our reserves to step up and score big.

Tero scoring double figures in his last few home meetings means it could be difficult to cover. Looking at averages, there was only maybe Barker or Kerr that could cover. TJ, Pijper, Lambo, & reserves could score well but this is 1 meeting when we need Ellis to bring his "A" game.

Redcar will have Jake, Sarg, Rowe & Jenkins taking Stewart's rides. We know what Jake can do, Tofty has just started hitting a bit of form, depends which Wright turns up as he seems to be doing an Auty & struggling for form, Rowe can be quick but is he still struggling with his knee & with Sarg & Jenkins on unknown form.

Manager chooses who goes where when it comes to joint averages.

Ellis will be eligible for an RR ride. The order on greensheets means nothing (look at Berwick where Jye is listed 2nd but is 4th in averages)

What a meeting! One of the best tracks in the league. Maybe Eurosport should take note and maybe televise one of the Championship meeting.

Both teams rode very well with some spectacular overtakes. Great advert for British speedway!
