Wolverhampton v King's Lynn 9th August 2021

Recommended Posts

Teams from the official site:-

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Broc Nicol, Nick Morris, Luke Becker, Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Leon Flint.

KING’S LYNN: Richard Lawson, Ben Barker, Erik Riss, Lewis Kerr, Thomas Jorgensen, Connor Mountain, Kasper Andersen.

With due respect to the Stars, this should however, be a straight forward home win with no points for the stars.

Ben Barker  usually provides a kind of entertainment but only because he can't get round monmore.

Looks like he's set fair for Stars best performer in the 1-5, Andersen at reserve is making a big difference by the looks of things.

We know we are the weakest of the six teams so all fans want to see is effort, commitment and fight and in scoring 38 at Wolves I think that was the case tonight. Thought we'd do well to get thirty so fair play to the team.

Gave it a good go. First four or so heats were a matter of just getting round, but once the rain stopped and the track work paid off, they gave it a good shot. Only eight down with two to go, so in with a shout of a point.

Fair play to Barker, he did good for the Stars. Track was difficult due to the rain, so well done to all riders from both teams.

Looking at the pics, it was very wet. Will be one of the hardest places to go for the Stars this season.. By the sounds of it the Stars gave it their all. That's all you can ask. Happy that all the riders came out of the meeting ok. On to Thursday for the Stars.

May be an image of motorcycle and outdoors
