Kings Lynn 2022

Recommended Posts

I was worried about Lawson early on in the season. He had 3 HT wins in 32 rides. But he has improved a lot since. These figures will change, but at the moment Just for an idea ...

                                 R     1st     2nd     3rd     4th

Klindt 7.71         32     12       8          7         3

Picko 7.05          84    24        23        23      9

Lawson 6.27     89    23        32        18     10

Harris 8.41        111   48       21         28      9

I think Lawson on that kind of average isn't bad at all. If we can't get a big hitter, i'd be ok with  these 3  plus Freddie.... Added Harris. If i had to choose between Klindt or Harris i think i would go Klindt on current aves.

I would welcome Freddie back on 5.04 but will deffo rise after his 16 pointer the other night.

Wonder when the 2nd leg of the cup final will be now.Wolves v Sheffield has been re-arranged for next Monday.Maybe the Tuesday or the Wednesday as long as all riders are available.

Probably never, can’t see the outstanding league meeting against Belle Vue being staged this season either.

We could be running into November at this rate, don't know if it's allowed though.

I would be happy with that.Once i knew we couldn't make the play offs in July i thought i would book a holiday in the middle of October.I hope the 2nd leg isn't then.

Not looking so good for Lawson and Jakobsen now the qualifying matches are down to 10.Both need to have a stinker against Belle Vue to get a little better average going into next season.Even though i said riders rarely do that thing nowadays.Lawson really has to look at a 7.91 average and think how many clubs would employ him on that.I hope the club are proactive and tell him a nice zero would take his average to under 7 and you have another full season with us next season.A zero against Belle Vue would replace a 16pt haul back in July.

Jakobsen doesn't have a rolling ave (is using his 2018 ave) so could really do with missing Lynn's last home league match to keep him on a 5.04 ave for 2023. Like Coventry did with Przemek Pawlicki in 2010?

Wouldn't want it delayed too far as that put the stars at a disadvantage. Sheffield will still be getting track time in playoffs, but not the stars so we might not be quite so sharp

I would be happy with that for Jakobsen providing he came back to us of course.

We should be totally peed off about this, do they ever give a thought to those organised to attend a meeting!!?  Eurosport could've had this organised on other nights this week, in the circumstances ......

Should never of been next Monday anyway, a cup final and play off meetings shouldn't clash.

I didn't realise they would change so much . Josh is going to be in demand. I hope Alex has him signed up already. The 63-27 win last week springs to mind. We should of nicked it 46-44 :P. As you said it seems like it's a rare thing these days. If what Szkocjasid said is correct regarding Freddie keeping his average, a fractured toenail is in order if he's coming back next season.

Not sure I'd be having Worrall or Jorgensen back on those figures.

If they want to be here for the whole season then Klindt, Pickering, Lawson and Jakobsen would be a great start for 2023.

Agree with those four, only if Lawson scores a zero against Belle Vue though. He's nearly an 8pt average at the moment that's a point too high imo.
