It had 2 former Newcastle #1’s and another rider who usually rides Brough very well. Does makes sense for Newcastle to start off against a "weak" side to gain confidence ahead of official matches, but they'll certainly find it tougher from now on! The idea was that many of the riders had ridden for, or had a connection, with Stoke, as a memory to Dave Tattum.
