Did they not get a 5-1 in H2!!!

Hardly anything to shout about. 0's galore after Ht 2 and it's been the story over the cup fixtures.

Kemp at Monmore this season -> 2, 0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0, FX

Flint at Monmore this season -> 0, 2, 0, 1, 2*, 0, 0, 0

Probably on a guarantee therefore not having to pay out on another riders points money.

Abject is all I can say about Belle Vue in the League Cup.  Not seen anything from Monmore but expect nothing.  Comments on this morning.

Wright = Ronseal.  Did enough, never looked like beating any of the 3 Wolves riders that looked like winning a heat, but didn't drop a point other than that.  Fricke, awful for #1, two 1-5's conceded at home in 2 matches, didn't get any better.  I have yet to see a Swallow this year, but 1 of them does not make a summer.  1 outstanding 4 laps by Kurtz when he surged beneath Masters than rounded the previously untouchable Worrall does not make up for heats 13 & 15 when he was so far off the pace, it wasn't fathomable.
The reserves did OK, Brannan was the only rider to lead Douglas for a lap but succumb too easily, Blodorn was in an "army Blanket" finish with Kemp & Bercker - the only decent race other than Kurtz's surge.
Etheridge is scoring more points than Allen, but so is every other NSS visitor.
Hoping there are changes for the visit of the Panthers in two weeks.

Well the rain before the meeting certainly made the track heavy and tricky, which needed a break before the rerun of heat 3.

certainly made it a long night.

The Aces always seemed in contention without ever looking like winning.

For the Aces..........Dont think Wright has ever looked so good, Brennan was quick, fast trapper and great value. Kurtz had 2 great rides and disappeared in the others. As for the rest.... woeful. Allen scored the same as Fricke without doing anything of note. As for Fricke, plain poor. Blodorn did nothing,  Hooefully Etheridge is ok after his heat 1 tumble.

Wolves..... Masters and Morris were excellent, Becker and Worrall did ok, Douglas tried hard whilst both reserves took a maximum in heat 2 so job done.
The track rode much better after grading.

To be fair, that will make a big difference to the team, so what's happening on track at the moment doesn't matter too much.

Do they not have to wait till 25% of the league season is over for the transfer window is open? Doubt League cup matches will count, so Allen & Etheridge will get a minimum of 5 league matches each (injury permitting).

An unbelievable performance by Charles Wright, probably his very best at Monmore.Unfortunately for the Aces counterbalanced by an abject performance from their GP rider Fricke. I wouldn't imagine that Monmore is anywhere near being Fricke's favourite track, but 4 points is still very poor.

Unbelievable off Wright?? He should look for teammate every now and again,cost aces 2 5-1’s running Allen wide, team event not individual

That’s the only change you’re allowed to make Phil. Unless they’ve already scrapped the new 25% league fixtures rule..

Surely as Allen is on a short term 28 day contract sanctioned by the authorities they can replace that rider to bring the team back up to the required number per team before the league campaign starts,

Yeah, that’s the change, Zagar for Allen. Phil was hinting there was more than one change, that isn’t possible under the current rules.
