Edinburgh v Newcastle 2nd leg 22/04/22

Recommended Posts

Monarchs at full strength. Newcastle operating R/R for the “injured” BWD.

On paper should be a easy home win but with  The likes of wethers, clegg, starker and wright all capable of going well round the dale should make for an entertaining night.

56-34. Newcastle might have made it closer with a guest but using r/r they’ve no chance I’m afraid. Their weakness at reserve should get Jacob in about the points too which is good.

Jacob has done an excellent job so far, simply by scoring in every heat 2.

The number 6 berth is notoriously difficult, with the chances of further points severely restricted thereafter.

Why do the diamonds only use a guest at home ?

Lots of meetings on today, maybe not many suitable guests available?

Probably accurate since Leicester had to get TJ who doesn't have Champ club for tonight

They don't want to waste money entertaining the opposition's crowd, knowing they'll get hammered anyway .

Save face and have a Guest at home to entertain your own fans.
