Flappy 1,605 Posted July 7, 2023 Time for the Tomalin, Johnson, Lyon trio to take the club forward. We should always be grateful to Buster Chapman for stepping in when he did but the time is now right to step aside

Are you sure that’s right? I’m happy to be corrected but I don’t think it’s legal to sponsor people on others behalf’s. There was a whole host of issues of this years ago when riders didn’t have the correct visas and then chopping and changing sides mid season. Tarasenko doesn’t ride for Plymouth or work for any of Philips’ businesses.

Why should he give it away? Because he can't cope when it comes to running two clubs at once, KL and Pboro can't even be competitive for the first 4 Heats let alone the full 15. Buster can save more than 20k if he gave the club away as he wouldn't have to pay the wages for Peterborough's 1-7 anymore which would be of interest to him imo. This completely all costs move away from him mid season that's worth more than he can expect to get for the club

That's not a reason to give it away though.. It can't be worth much to be honest. If MT really wanted it, then surely a deal could be done. It's not going to skint him. Maybe CJ did this to add pressure on Buster. Maybe helping MT with any deal he might be thinking of.. Who knows Edited July 7, 2023 by Bald Bloke

Why would Carl be helping find a new stadium when he's no longer involved and peed off with the current owner?

And CJ mentioned running the club on a shoestring budget. The cynic in me says MT may well of not delivered all on the sponsor front, otherwise there would be money. The mind boggles.
