Looks like the FIM are still not allowing Russian Riders to compete outside their home country, after the FIM General Assembly in Rimini.

The Russian Ice season starts next weekend (10/11 December) does anyone know if we will be able to watch the meetings, or are the links all blocked?

Spoken to Stewmac who will be in touch with you about what he knows about possible streaming links.

They will stream as per usual, but looks likely only on VK (Russian Facebook).

Hi Conkers,

Te best place to catch all the steaming is via the "Ice Gladiators FC" Facebook group. This is a direct link to it here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/icegladiatorsFC/?ref=share

One of the admins there, Anton Terebenin posts details of upcoming meetings, and whether they will be streamed or not. In many cases he himself streams them, and he's pretty good, with a decent level of English too, allowing you to interact and converse with him via the chat on the streams. Be aware that some streams will be via YouTube and others via the Ice Gladiators VK page (VK is a Russian version of Facebook) but all are good quality.

If you need any more help, ask me and I'll give you more precise details closer to match days once I see the links appearing.

Had a message this morning with a flyer for the Berlin Meetings.

Looks like they are staging the German Championship on Friday March 3, with the European Championship on Saturday March 4.

Looks like the Saturday is just an International meeting with European riders, rather than 'the European Championship' ?

Yes that is correct as the FIM wouldn’t sanction the European Championship which, I believe, will instead be held at Sanok in February.

Will be in Sanok indeed.

Berlin always seem to announce their dates before they are confirmed by FIM/FIME lol.

15 places allocated for Sanok at the moment, with one place for a neutral rider (just like what FIM did at some of their championships).

CZ 2
GB 1
AT 2
DE 2
IT 1
NL 1
NO 1
PL 1
FI 2
SE 2

The Dutch got priority in an extra place incase of no neutral rider.
