@Pauldoveyspeedway wanted Zach out the team in first month of the season!

Having fellow Aussies Masters, Schlein and Douglas in the team may be helping Cook. Plenty of experience to lean on there.

And should, providing no one has an absolute 'mare, be at reserve all season.

With the top 5 strong ..Should be at number 6 all season ...

He had a bad spell for about 2-3 weeks in middle of last season when it was league meetings and then did good in KOC and playoffs when doesn't count towards his average. If it did prob would have been around 7 last season.

Riding more has helped ...Been doing well at Poole ...Getting  to grips with M.G..Being at reserve at M.G will bring him on ...

He was team ridden well by Becker and Duggo last night but didn't put a foot wrong and looked rock solid

Impressive performance

Both Cooks had bad spells earlier in the season but later in the season they were very good , this season they are both riding really well,we would struggle badly without them, i think riding in the premiership has helped both of them maybe Zach more than Ben.

A post from Shovlar pre season "Ben might be making better scores, but personally think Zach has more potential"  looks like he could be right .

Yes he maybe right but Ben is in a struggling team in the premiership so that could be why he hasnt progressed as much as Zach. Personally i think there isnt much between them potentially.

He also thinks Sams not a true no 1 yet his average is now 8.46 and he has beaten every other no 1 in the league at least once

Certainly has adapted to Monmore much quicker than Leon Flint. But starting off at Plymouth and not Berwick has probably had a lot to do with it.

Zach got paid 13 on his last visit to Ipswich, Ben would find that difficult to emulate but both are going well and improving
