When Tobi fell off Douglas was not under power so should have been excluded. Then to confirm that he comes out in rerun on Worralls bike. Costing us the bonus point. Not that it makes a vast difference but just do your job. Mickey Mouse sport can’t be taken seriously

Mickey Mouse sport can’t be taken seriously Biggest problem is the blind sided fans. 1st running Douglas on Worrall bike but had a rear tyre issue ( faulty tyre ) so slows up and coasts around. Tobi comes a cropper and ref put red lights on immediately Douglas was on inside of fourth turn when Pickering who raced on despite red lights on halfway down the back straight. Doughy always under power and not lapped when red lights came on. Charlie boy and Steady excitable and dreaming. Great rant on pits phone by Steady. Ref did his job spot on. in rerun on Worrall bike but with his own back tyre.
Charlieboy 416 Posted September 8, 2023 The referee can exclude riders for not racing and douglas was definitely not racing and was 3/4 of a lap behind when Tobi fell off. Then before the rerun Ryan Guest announced that Douglas was now coming out on Worralls bike. No matter who’s bike he was on he wasn’t racing
noaksey 346 Posted September 8, 2023 So everytime a rider coasts around they should be excluded?

RideHard 40 Posted September 8, 2023 Any news on Vissing? If he’s out for next few weeks Etheridge proved last night he can attack the track, id have him guest remainder of the play offs and KOC

If he hadn't actually stopped before red light come on then he's not excluded, if he had then yes you have a point.

tellboy 3,672 Posted September 8, 2023 If Douglas was coasting because of a problem with bike/tyre,but not lapped he is still in the race.We have seen numerous occasions where a rider has pushed a bike home for a point.R.Lambert done it Monday when a fuel pipe split,be harsh to exclude them for not racing.

I'm afraid he was...on the fourth bend both leading riders passed the coasting Douglas before they had had time to respond to the red light. Douglas had clearly retired from the race and should no way have been allowed into the rerun.

Once the red light comes on the race is stopped, it doesn't matter that two riders hadn't seen it, or continued to race against each other. It depends on the situation of Douglas at the time the red light went on, was he under power? Edited September 8, 2023 by LesR
