If the track in Leicester can’t be sorted for Saturday, then the BSPA should step in and demand the meeting is run at Monmore or Birmingham. That way it’s not too far for the Leicester fans to travel.

Ridiculous statement.

Owlerton is better than Monmore for most Lions supporters I'd think!  Anyway, all three are Greyhound stadiums and there will undoubtedly be Greyhound racing on a Saturday night

Monmore might be available on Monday but that is all.

Either way whoever wins the play offs the lions will be champions in my mind.

Leicester - league champions

Poole/Leicester - play off winners

If the tie cannot be held by 31 October, because both Clubs have been unable to fulfil all fixtures it should revert to league tale

Champions are Leicester

Runners Up are Glasgow.

I find myself surprisingly agreeing with this point except Poole have completed all their League and play-off fixtures. Its leicester that haven't!:t::cheers:

As for the Howarth debacle, if it was agreed as part of his 2022 contract, the only issue for me is the rule that allows a guest - it should only be r/r imo.

Yes is the answer to that. Desperate lot.

Be exactly the same if it was the other way round.

Can they not just do a double header at Sheffield on the 2nd? ;)

If Mr Ebdon is coming out of retirement we may as well go for a Quadruple header and pull the Jubilee Trophy in as well... all done and dusted by 10pm :D

Time saving motions can be put in place to ensure a far earlier completion time , Danny King will be banned from riding

Or just crown Leicester champions as we've been top of the league all year anyway so we've earnt it. I mean if it hadn't been waiting for Poole to get the first leg done we'd have been finished by now right? Maybe we should have insisted you ran your meeting elsewhere?

Might have to run your leg else were at this rate

Why on earth would that be? There is no problem at all with stadium availability, we run into November, simple as that, you guys set that precedent last year

They should draw lots, that way Oxford still have a chance!
