Like Bandits at home Bullets beaten badly.

Just a bit of bad luck tonight to be honest, can’t fault any of the lads efforts to be honest. Really enjoyed the meeting after as-well, surely Owen Booth is knocking on the door of the bullets? He seems a great young rider!

It's always bad luck for the Bullets and Bandits actually thought the meeting was very boring.

As Berwick are 4.7 below the points limit it's not really a new reserve they need to find to be competitive (maybe next year's team?). But as they're probably destined for the wooden spoon already, may just stick with what they have.

It's always bad luck though to be honest, maybe the team just isn't very good to be honest.

Looking back over the predictions thread and the vast majority had Berwick in the bottom two. Have to admit that i didn't see as many poor home defeats coming but it was an uninspiring team when built and not sure if the changes have added any strength at all.

Any thoughts on Berwick kicking out a youngster to sign a 36-year-old ex-Elite League rider who was banned for 2 years for failing to take a drugs test?

Waste of time considering their season if “up the Swanee “ anyway.

ps.
Do Berwick have any youngsters.?

I was told Turner signed a few weeks ago so guessing thats fallen through?. Either way as covered by other posters the season is over, 3 matches left and no possibility of getting in the playoffs so why waste any money on new signings.

But would/will Turner be back over next season? Boxall signed on a 2 year deal wouldn't have enough meetings to drop his average down either (think he finished on 9.49 and no way should he be allowed a reduction for enforced time out). Berwick need to look largely at what they did this season and then do the exact opposite.

EDIT - literally just opened the new greensheets and there it is Boxall on 7.97 what an absolute farce. Sure he will drop that nicely over the next couple of meetings and then sign further south next year.
