Yes and it's typical that when I chose for the first time in many years not to spend our summer holidays in our usual central Finland place, that Varkaus gets this meeting. I'm sure they'll do a good job of hosting it though, as the place has been being extensively developed over the past 10 years.

Roads from Helsinki to Varkaus are excellent, and generally quiet, but there are speed cameras everywhere, and Finns know to their cost that the speed limits must be adhered to. If the limit is 100km/h and you are caught doing 101km/h, you will be charged. Fines are related to income, so the richer you are, the more you are hammered.

The bigger question is have Holland 2/3 riders ?  :)

There were at least two riding regularly in the Danish lower leagues last year

We have riders, but I don't think KNMV will send riders to Finland. There is also a round of the Dutch Grass Track championship scheduled on the same day.

We tried to switch with one of the Nations in Nagyhalasz, but unsuccessfully for as far as I know.

Confirmed KNMV is out. So 6 nations only in Finland.

France also pulled out. So there will now be a mixed pair.

They want people to come and STAY as well, even if only for one night…

Also, even if its permanent, me thinks its doubtfull it would survive the hammering of both during one day.
