He is certainly worthy of a place and a very welcome addition to the league - that doesn't mean he should bypass the set qualification criteria

Lots of sense in there but unfortunately that isn't the set criteria meaning Woffinden and Bailey are not the next in line

Wildcard?

Yes again he could be but it would still be altering the criteria. There is no wildcard in the regs

Mind you it would be in line with speedways making it up as you go along to suit approach

What is the "set criteria", genuine question?

Done on 1 August green sheets (Prem) I believe. But it does seem unreasonable that the under 21 champion doesn't get a place.

This is it I believe

Absolutely pathetic by Worrall, he's become a right whinger recently.  He's simply not good enough so he's quit.

Exactly he would be nowhere near the title no matter how many rounds were held. Never heard riders moaning about it being at Coventry every year, was always a great meeting there but look at the differnce in quality compared to today.

Highest average rider who isn't already riding at Cardiff, or is that too easy for the BSPA

Yes I would guess they will go with PL, meaning Lawson will be praying for rain.

Give it to Richie Worrall he would have won it if it had been anywhere but the NSS :D

Thats the whole thing about British speedway.

Back in the 70s and 80s every senior team had one if not two international class heat leaders.

Now adays riders can't even be bothered with the likes of the BLRC which used to be considered a prestigious title to win.

The British Final used to be a Brilliant event with all the qualifiers at every track, the semi finals and then the final leading 5o the next round of or even the World Final.

The GP series did more damage to British Speedway than is calculatable.

I saw that too but It’s changed now, looks fairly clear on the Met office radar. Probably worth risking travelling down for it now

Yeah. Looks much better now. Any heavy rain will be gone mid morning. I’m fairly confident it will go ahead now
