coldace 110 Posted July 3, 2023 2 hours ago, Rob B said: Stopped raining now and forecast is fine for rest of the day. but we had a lot of rain this morning and last night and low temperature today so it will be damp track for sure, more in Wolves favour. Going to have to win the toss for once and take 1 and 3.

Col 854 Posted July 3, 2023 Having sung the praises of the M6 between Manchester & Cannock on the Leicester hosted Prem Pairs thread it bit me on the ass big time tonight! Meeting done & dusted early for the flat track & female rider demo. In car by 21:15, thought great I'll be home by 22:30. Nah! M6 rubbish J17-J16 & A449 from Shugborough. Marvelous. #hatehighwaysagency Still better than M6 through Brum. Absolute drubbing for Wolves, score probably would have been bigger but a few Aces (Bewley, Lidsey & Wright) struggled in their opening rides. Toss up between Kurtz & Blodorn for top performer. Bewley picking his way through traffic in heat 15 probably the highlight. Kurtz blasting around Worrall on the final bend after making up about 20 metres in 2 laps close behind. Smith's paid win however got the biggest applause. Masters aside Wolves were not at the races and even their captain struggled in the middle of the meeting.. Aggregate bonus should be secured with that result. But if it isn't leaving not replacing Smith with Brennan in heat 12 could be costly.
bruno 1,790 Posted July 3, 2023 Nightmare journey back M6 must rival M25 as worst road in Britain. Just got on slip road at 19 before it shut then 17 to 16 shut then shut at 13. Everytime we do an away meeting it seems we have problems. And we got stuffed. Rant over.
Colinspeedway 40 Posted July 3, 2023 Didn't see it being so one sided but glad they got a raceable circuit after the showers today! Was very impressed with the German Celina who did a few laps after the meeting she looked very quick!
