ThinBlueWitch 21 Posted July 10, 2023 Didn’t expect much at Sheffield tonight but disappointing to keep it so close and let it slip at key moments. Riss’ fitness/confidence and our weakness at reserve cost us tonight. Everyone else did their bit

It is what it is, and the racing tonight has been good... Agree but cannot help that something is missing so the edge goes with Poland. Having said that the Mildenhall meeting yesterday was apparently a good advert for the sport. Whatever our thoughts, Speedway U K needs some serious changes to get it back to where it should be. Look at last week’s speedway star and the back page photo of the Bristol meet and today is a mere shadow of what it use to be. Every club would die for a crowd like that.
Gavan 5,050 Posted July 10, 2023 Emil and Rew apart this is a shocking performance… Doyle isn’t quick tonight.. King can’t win races Riss painful to watch And nothing from the reserve berth Why are we so painfully slow to make team changes we always seem to loyal to riders We have 2 of the worlds best spearheading us and yet we aren’t going to get close to the play offs and the buck stops with the crap team building
mikebv 10,278 Posted July 10, 2023 A two man team... The other 4 (excluding the RS), all seem to be riding in one position above their true level.. King, for example is more a Second String level than a HL in the top division... And you cannot carry both Second Strings, particularly when your No6 struggles for wins and 2nd places...

Roger Jacobs 554 Posted July 10, 2023 29 minutes ago, iainb said: I think it's more a matter of he's got talk back going on in his ear the whole time, he's commentating on his own and he's got to keep on taking all the time... and that's not easy... easy for people to criticise though... all the bloody time, on here... even though we can all hear it!! Why has he got talkback? It's obviously not doing any good. The camera work is dodgy, and if Tatum is watching a monitor that must be why he misses what action there is! He needs help - either for his repetitive repetition, and/or someone else on the commentary with him.
