Sheffield v Wolves 24/07

Recommended Posts

Sheffield have 3 fixture issues now:

Peterborough V Sheffield (a and b fixture)

Sheffield V Wolves (b fixture)

also KOC Final is scheduled for 4th September

Wonder if these will be done before the play-offs?

I was expecting this postponenement all weekend as the forecast has been terrible, track looks like a lake.

Any betting Sheffield try to run it on a Weds when Zach, Steve and Sam wouldn't be available!

Though Poole don't have a meeting on 30th August atm, not sure about Oxford.

Can someone explain why Sam Masters has a visa which requires him to be out of the country, for some time.

Think it's his family - can only stay here for a certain length of time as tourists.

If Sheffield are adamant that tomorrow is the only free date they have available it will be a bugger for them if it's rained off.

Bing bong, the bugger has just dropped through the letterbox:rofl:

Cant they double up the Sheffield v Wolves meeting on 24th August?

phil morris should be all over this.  brings any semblance of respectability the league has into question.  if both clubs agree to it then the fixture should be deemed as fulfilled but the points shouldn’t count.

Absolute shambles. Not as if riders have almost five months off a year to go on holiday.

Most riders are doubling up & riding in European leagues so taking a break to recharge their batteries for a few days. Even we, in Britain, take weekend breaks, do we not?

Unless it's a Thursday meeting & they're racing in a re-arranged Polish Extraleague match!

Any of the 3 top Polish Leagues apply.

So, do Sheffield now forfeit the points as there are ‘allegedly’ no more available dates at Owlerton?

5 more weeks to end of August so hope Sheffield do not have any more postponements.

I work 12 months a year. They know the industry they’re getting into and what it entails. We also bend over backwards for riders here letting them double up so they don’t have to get proper jobs to subsidise their racing, to the detriment of the product. The least they can do is take their holidays in the off season. They take the P enough as it is arguably.
