Time for riders to double up with outside jobs rather than with two clubs.

Doubling up is bad for the sport, good for the riders. Things should be done for the good of the sport.

In most other motorsports only the very elite competitors are lucky enough to race as their full time profession. Most speedway riders seem to expect a full time living from the sport even if they’re second tier, second string plodders or worse.

Could double uppers with visa's get an outside job.

Probably not. They’d just have to make sure they’re good enough to make the sport pay.

Can’t be persisting with rules that are killing the sport here because a few riders’ noses may be put out of joint.

15 Danny King
16 Leon Flint

this is the current lineup in race order. Any replacements take the number of the rider they’re replacing.

Kinda confusing, Edinburgh saying Kye is in and Josh Pickering now riding in Poland. So I thought one is just replacing the other. But can't see either in this line up.

Josh Pickering is riding in Poland tomorrow for Gniezno in their home match with Pila, the same meeting that Sam Masters is riding in.

It does seem odd that the BSPL would schedule what should be a meeting that the Championship riders would want to ride in for a weekend where the Polish play offs were taking place.

Why?

Because he is refusing to ride with no reason. He could easily get a flight back from Poland.

Must be long odds on Craig cook showing up surely? Max clegg could end up being Edinburgh representative at this rate

I didn't see him at Armadale last night but I heard he was there.

Polish play-offs weren't taking place at the start of the season when scheduled.

Been rearranged due to rain offs (in the Speedway Star this week).

Nevertheless, isn't it silly to have this and the Championship Pairs in the same week as the original cut off date for team fixtures? That's piss poor planning from the league.

The Championship fixtures this season have been a shambles.
