Well yes. If Adam has said he is out for the season then need a replacement. Joe seems the best available. Although maybe a domino effect with other clubs if someone signs Ashten B and we could use who they drop? Not long left to do this though!

Any announcement about Ashton probably won't be til after Monday 21st , his 16th birthday, wherever he is headed?

28th is the cut-off date effective 31st

  • Thanks 1

Think it was just a good gate actually. Didn’t move until the tapes started to go up.

If this was one of the many “massive rollers” that the opposition seem to get away with every week (according to some) then we might have to disregard that posters comments.

Good ride from the Cooks though (albeit it was Danyon)

I'm aware of the rumours but didn't want to mention Glasgow on this thread.

He's a Lynn lad. I have heard that he is a wanted man for next season. Sheffield and Glasgow are in for him.

Great ride by the Pirates. Nothing wrong with the start, Hume never moved before the tapes, just a perfect start.

I still find it hard to believe Glasgow would drop a 3.5+ rider for a 2.00 newcomer, no matter how promising he is?

Complin could be regarded as a track specialist round Berwick, and when they rode at 1&2 on Saturday for Leicester Cubs, Boughen kept up with him from heat 1 onwards, despite it being his first ever visit to Shielfield, I think he’ll be better than Complin within a few weeks around Glasgow.

If, and it's a big if, these rumours are true I'd say it's a case of the club looking to the future knowing unlikely to win this season but if give the lad few meetings at end of the season next year could have very potent reserves using up little more than 4 points of your team building. Also be to stop other clubs getting him
