If we can’t get riders to turn up for a one off there’s no chance we’ll get their commitment for a series. 

Might as well scrap it and let the u21 champ be wildcard, and just have a league riders championship instead.

Maybe still recovering from his previous injury but he had 5 rides for Sheffield the other day and hasn't ridden since as far as I know.

Yes - because he didn't win all 6 heats. I he didn't have to to win the meeting, but shows he didn't have it all his own way.
