Baldyman 6,243 Posted August 28, 2023 Belle Vue should win the tin pot again easily,, not that anyone gives two monkeys outside of the sport. Another few million pounds in the Belle Vue bank

Not quite confirmed yet Rob, Wolverhampton could take top spot with three large wins.
shippy22 60 Posted August 29, 2023 I really hope that either Belle Vue or Wolverhampton win the play offs. Along with Ipswich, they are the only teams that have not chopped and changed all season. Leicester, Sheffield, King's Lynn & Peterborough are not really " teams", just a random selection of riders bought together for a few matches. If Leicester or Sheffield win the play offs, it will make a complete mockery of the sport. Would be nice for Wolves to win, in what looks like their last season. They are the only team that have shown any loyalty to their riders over the past few years .

Your first statement is quite harsh on Sheffield, they could do nothing about Jack Holder breaking his wrist at the SWC. Ellis & Bellego were given enough time to find their form. Your second statement is quite harsh on Belle Vue. Brennan & Boldorn retained when it was obvious the two of them couldn't stay at reserve all season unlike last season. I'd probably want the Witches to sneak in, but the old romantic in me kind of will root for Wolves if they don't! It was noted last night when they were interviewing Chris VS that Wolves are always very loyal to their riders and often stick with the same line up / riders! Arch Stanton 2,255 Posted August 29, 2023 (edited) Sorry to see Wolves’ plight and I echo others in keeping fingers crossed they can come back in 2025. But balls to wanting them to win it! (Unless we don’t make it then I’ll be rooting for them). Edited August 29, 2023 by Arch Stanton

We weren’t allowed to keep them at reserve as we were compelled to sign another RS after Tom was banned from the scheme. Wolves and Belle Vue have used a similar amount of riders over the last five seasons and this puts them separate from the rest of the league in terms of loyalty. There’s 3 ex Colts in the Acea lineup which is in itself quite extraordinary.

You also got a hefty average ruduction for him which allowed strength in other areas
