No there is  no rule ..another forum myth .just like the made up gentlemans agreement ..

There is a rule can Jamon Lidsey guest, no, so then why can Chris Harris, it doesn't make sense does it.

It’s common sense that if you can’t use guests from another team in the playoffs then once you’ve guested for team in the playoffs you can’t then guest bud or another. Similarly it would make sense for this to supersede the 8 day rule meaning Lawson could ride for Sheffield in both the semi and final for example.

Why is it not common sense. . The rule is pretty clear.you can use riders not involved in the play offs as guests..

Harris has represented 6 out of the 7 Premiership clubs this season whether it being a permanent spell or a guest booking.

Harris has had a permanent spells at Leicester and Peterborough this season.

Harris has also made guest appearances for both Leicester and Peterborough this season.

Harris helped Ipswich get into the final.

Harris will now help Sheffield win the final.

Plus Robert Lambert will have ridden in 13 Premiership meetings over the last two years and he may have two league titles to show for it LOL.

You can't run a circus without any clowns, The higher ups have ruined our once great sport to the point of no return unfortunately, We used to be the best in the business now we're an Amateur laughing stock hence why the Sport in this country can't attract any new fans.

Of course  it does..Lidsey would have a vested interest and could ride in both semi finals if the rules allowed.Harris has none

True, but have to disagree on one point, Harris will not (hopefully, fingers crossed etc) help Sheffield win the title, he may well be trying to "find the right set up Monday night"  Ipswich are having it, come on you Witches.

You could not make it up with all that has/is going on with regard to the oppositions riders and to add insult, Ipswich race on an off night to no doubt accommodate Sheffield who have limited nights available to race and so priority over race nights is conceded. One rule next year should include available nights to race and if the stadium owners consider that they can earn more money from other activities then the club has to have a question mark against it competing in the top league. At the end of the day it is a Mickey Mouse end of season competition and the real winners are Belle Vue who finished top and are league champions and Ipswich who won the cup, this end of season race off debacle are a series irrelevant fixture fillers.

Lidsey rode against Ipswich in the semi final ....his team are out yet he cant ride in the final

Harris rode FOR Ipswich in the semi final.....yet can ride against them in the final

Try reading it aloud and hearing how crazy that is

No need for drama..the rule is pretty simple.Teams can use guests that are not involved in the offs. already explained why that is. so no I did not miss anything.

Ipswich should have a big lead after Monday anyway... Lambert doesn’t ride Foxhall well at all (neither do Holder and Pickering) and Harris is very up and down nowadays, sometimes brilliant and sometimes awful

So we are now left with strange situation whereby a rider whose club is not in the play-offs but can guest for more than one club that is. However, if a guest rising star is required he has to be selected from the list as long as he is not already in current 1 -7.

Sheff finished above ippo so would have choice of race nights .. so you could make it up as you just have lol . People who don't understand play offs tend to be oap's who have no understanding of modern sport and  or have any idea of the money side of the sport as your last line clearly shows .

Lidsey can't guest now his team are out, it's the same as Harris.  It's absolutely nonsense and there is no argument otherwise.

Lambert won't have 2 winners medals he will have 1.  He was a contracted Belle Vue rider, he's only a Sheffield guest.
