Oh how we’ve all missed the intelligent Comets fans in the Championship.

Doesn’t understand how rolling averages work clearly.

Never watched a meeting since Worky left the league and presumes nothing has changed. Craig Cooks a top rider, no one’s disputing that. Just simply saying he isn’t the best rider in the league and hasn’t been for years, and that’s a FACT. You are being incredibly naive if you think Cook who hasn’t been able to hold down a second string spot in the Premiership is better than Sam Masters, who’s ridden at number 1 for Wolves for multiple years. Douglas miles clear of him last year also.

Oh dear http://www.gbspeedway.com/2019/yearindex.php?mc1=x&mc2=x&mc3=x&mc4=x

2019 is four years ago. Not recent.

Cook is a good signing for Workington. A former GP rider and one of the top men in the second tier on his day. Hopefully it’s his day more often than not next year, it will benefit everyone if it is.

Couldn’t have put it better myself.

@Supersteady1984 you  are beginning to look like the village idiot of worky, unless you are related to the last one on here @jengaj:blink:   time to move on

Like the look of this potential team

Workington
Craig Cook 8.52
Michael P Toft 7.01
Claus Vissing 6.24
Anders Rowe 5.80
Dan Gilkes 4.84
Adam Roynon 3.50
Sam McGurk 2.00
Total 37.91

Is Anders Rowe going to ride in the Championship? Hardly seen him mentioned in any threads since Poole changed their plans. Big shame if he misses out on a spot

When we were in the NDL we didn’t seem to have the absolute nonsense that we’re already starting to see on this thread !? Funny enough now we are back in the championship the lunatics are back. Don’t know if it’s because people take it more serious or what but I’ve noticed some nutters on Facebook too, anyway all publicity is good publicity as they say.

In Cook we have a genuine out and out number one. A local rider who should be and now is riding for his local club. Craig will benefit from riding at Workington and we will see what we all know he can do I have no doubt about it. Sam had a great year and another year around the NS track will do him good. Great start for us and I’m sure things will come together nicely.

Get them airhorns at the ready, Cmon the Comets!
