Adam Ellis will sign with his mate Bewley.

if they keep Lidsey and Kurtz in the team perhaps they’ll use Connor Bailey at reserve next to a rising star leaving them plenty of points to use in the top 5

Might be no RS  ? meaning 6 man teams with a team average of 42 if raised up ?

I’d say so. It’s a no brainer. He will put 2 points on that average

If I wanted someone to put 2 points on their average around NSS I'd be looking at Palm-Toft on 5.13 before Eliis.

Things will be desperate if we have to consider Ellis. People used to say similar things about Troy Batchelor, 'he's on a low average', ' it's  false he'll be a good bet to increase his average", it never happened. It would be just the same with Ellis.

Maybe a couple of years ago but not now I'm afraid. Seems too many injuries have slowed him down.

Your right, he's had a very poor season and I'm sure even he'd agree with that .

Is there any news on Charles Wright's recovery? If he intends to come back, will the Aces give him a chance?

I don't think Dan will be back in 2024, however I hope he is and would this 1-6 fit

B Kurtz,  D Bewley  J Lidsey  R Douglas  N Bloddorn  K Rew.

If the limit is increased to 42 as rumoured then yes

40 points for 6 riders

And they are keeping the Rs, so I’d go this

kurtz

blodorn

lidsey

ellis

bewley

berge

bailey RS

Would be some team to beat that!

Belle Vue will be a force once again next season should they go down the predictable route, 5 riders should be a formality with only one decision for Mark Lemon to make over the No.4 position.

BELLE VUE

1. Brady Kurtz 8.51
2. Adam Ellis 5.56
3. Jaimon Lidsey 7.86
4. Tom Brennan 5.86 / Norick Blodorn 5.83
5. Dan Bewley 8.00
6. 4.21 / 4.24 (Bellego, Berge or Rew fit)
7. Connor Bailey RS
