Birmingham v Leicester 15th April 2024

Recommended Posts

Worrall had been pretty poor when I've seen him so far this season, he needs to improve.

Feel for Brum fans because it's inevitable that they're going to go under financially now before the season finishes.

Nowhere near enough fans will turn up to watch a team that simply isn't competitive for the promotion to run a sustainable business.

Can't believe Leicester's reserves have scored to 5-1s against Brummies top 5.

I've tried to be positive, but can't any longer, this Birmingham team is just pitiful.

Where's the grip on the track that they've spent loads on?

It's a yawn fest!

Brummies HL's can't even beat Kemp & Joe Thompson on their own track.

Tolley may as well shut up shop tonight tbh unless he's got thousands of pounds to throw down a drain.

If Birmingham don't win tonight then they won't win a meeting all season.

This is the strongest 1-7 Birmingham will put out all season.

It's the worst bham team I've ever witnessed!

Sadly, it was obvious from the moment all the other teams had their own heat leaders in place that Brum were going to struggle..

Every one of their riders are riding in a position (at least), one place up from where they should be..

And their two top riders are only on their "contrived" averages to make the team look competitive on paper..

Good job there wasn't eight teams in the league...

So Douglas misses the gate and throws it ? Should be excluded!

Just using speedway updates right now. All I can say I feel so sorry for the Birmingham fans.

On the other hand so happy for Joe Thompson.

Not a HL in the top division...

And that was the same when hardly any "top riders" rode here...

Now there are a fair few, his points scoring is under even more pressure...

Riding at  No2, at wolves, was ideal for him, especially as if they won the toss, he went off gate one in the first heat..

Just now, Mr Blobby said:

Milik is absolutely garbage.

Always has been, He's nothing more than a bang average No.2/No.6 in this league.

Birmingham signed him on a 7.50 purely due to fact that nobody else wanted to ride for them.

No surprise though really...

Always found wanting at the top level, and must find the tracks over here "somewhat different"...

Going head to head against GP riders, and others roughly at that level, wont be doing him any favours...

Should just call it now...

Brum get away without a complete hiding and save some points money...
