Thank you for that response that emphasised rather than denied the point I was making. No one is doubting the quality of the track at Northside when it comes to competitive racing nor the commitment from Andrew Bain that has created the venue. But the team has struggled this year - and last after the temporary shutdown - and regardless of loyalty or the quality of the racing, many supporters won’t pay to watch a losing team.

Think it was mentioned on another thread that Lawson would be at No 1 at the next set of new averages.

Sad to see that the young stars rode a meeting at home on Wednesday and nobody on this forum noticed !
