I feel like this perspective is shared by those running British speedway and in my opinion, it’s the biggest reason British speedway will die (as a competitive sport) in the not too distant future. Far too many people tolerate mediocrity and outright amateurish standards, accusing those (myself included) who demand standards and improvement as ”moaners” and ”negative”. We all want the same thing; British speedway to thrive, but I believe some of use are already anticipating what is coming while others bury their heads in the sand. -
I’m pretty sure that Reid won heat 2 last night.George Dodds has that one wrong.

Rolling averages should be set now for May as KO cup matches won’t count. Jeppesen 8.48 Cook 8.35 Batchelor 6.75 Zischke 5.23 Jakobsen 5.00 Foord 3.89 Etherington 2.00 39.70 Max Perry would be 2.29 so would come in at 39.99 if Max came in for Jamie.

Read somewhere that the transponders called the result and ref wanted a 2nd opinion, but also read a few times in the past, that the transponders don't always work 🤔 apparently Godfrey organised a supplier for them so that explains a lot 😜
