Depends where r/r is in the team. Ben Cook is currently 5th, so one above (kvech) and klindt/boughen for the other 3. If klindt has 3 extra rides that's his 7 rides done and (a poorly performing) boughen has to take his full 4 rides. That was why rob gave klindt his 7th ride early against Sheffield and left boughens last one til heat 14...where he knew there could be a chance of being able to use a tactical in that race instead. If Ben was 4th or higher in averages it wouldn't be so bad..

Agree. Ben had a 3.20 average from his 4 meetings. I know he should be a 6 pointer, but we are full of them..You only have to look at our away form, Apart from Lawson, it's crap.. -

Tough to see how you can make it work without being prepared to lose a pile of cash -

The idea is all well & good but we all know that a weaker product won’t reflect in lower admission prices. At best they will be held at 2025 levels for a couple of years. Has having some top riders back in the uk improved the attendance levels I can’t comment to much as I don’t travel to away fixtures. the crowds at Ipswich certainly appear higher since the Jason/Emil double act have been in town they have certainly brought myself & a few others that I know back to regular attendees not missing a meeting from attending the odd one or two a year. The radical overhaul should have happen after Covid, the promoters had an entire season written off where they could have used the time to come up with a blue print. The sport has been on a steady decline since the late 80s. The Stewksbury plan of the early 90s to revive the sport failed because of infighting. One big league failed because of infighting in 95/96. The last chance salon of the elite league with sky tv money failed again due to in fighting & lack of vision. I’m not sure the majority of promoters want radical change that might stop the rot & improve things. -

I don't think Dan would be likely to get a wildcard tbh. Not sure how much attention the FIM would take to British league form? Maybe if he had won the British U21 title or gotten a wildcard to Cardiff he'd have been noticed more? Can only wait & see, if another Brit qualifies, don't see him having any chance of a wildcard. For me as soon as he was injured & should've got in touch with Luke Killeen & asked to swap meetings (assuming that's allowed) would've given himself an extra 2 weeks to recover.
