I've absolutely no idea what the highest transfer fee is , but I do recall a story told to us by Ole Olsen & his transfer to Coventry in 1976. He had a verbal agreement with the CO to go there, but rider control sent him to Hull.  Ole refused to go & stated that he would sit out British Speedway that year. Shortly afterwards he was informed his move to Brandon was sorted out, only to find out later that Coventry had paid £30,000 for his services, ironically not to his former club Wolves but to Hull to get him released .🤣

What exactly am I complaining about other than the M6?

Riding order will often change for away meetings depending on past rider performance at those tracks!

My guess would be David Lowe, the Leicester Fans Voices rep.
