I dont condone what jye did. He should let have done it. But let's not go there with the minor angle. Play with the big boys. You get dealt with like a big boy. -
It's a bit like playing russian roulette. It might be ok, it might not. In the current state of finances being cautious seems the right approach as long as the Friday night hotels could be cancelled free of charge.

Considering Poole were up North at Berwick the next night I would agree.

Thank you , Mr Shovlar. Well, rushings from gate 1 was unable to hold his line into turn 1 , in order to avoid his team mate in the white helmet colour, chose to change directiom and take a very wide line out of turn 2. So from gate 1 he ended up on the extreme outside of bend 2. the yellow helmet rider was left with no where to go after rushings sudden change of line out of turn 2. Was it deliberate - I don't think so - but in the first running of the heat he allegedly kicked out at etheridge ? He needs to keep his right leg on the footrest - not showboat around the track like a rodeo star. Something for his coach to tell him. The only other possible decision the ref could have made was "all 4 back" but after rushings effort in the first running , guess the ref had seen enough ... and Poole were the away side. The handbags afters - ha ha . Rushings is in with the big boys now ... not in schoolboy racing. If he dishes it out he can expect it coming back to him. He stuffed Luke Harrison earlier in the season ... word gets around in this sport. Refs are clearly watching out for the tasselled cowboy 🙂 🙂 Any news of whether Lawson will be suspended for withholding his services last Wednesday in Denmark - and was a guest facility actually allowed for a rider who missed the meeting for "illness" ????? -
IainB, British Speedway needs our youngsters to gain experience from the best in the world and I for one have no problem with them wanting to do just this. We need more backup to Bewley and Lambert and riding just in our domestic league isn’t enough. Tom Brennan and Dan Thompson are getting there but it takes time and effort and I fully support any British rider wanting to go down this route.

I thought poole were going to win the treble this year. I expected Bowes/Newman maybe out the door soon.
