Trouble seems to be that the East of England Agricultural Society whom I believe own some or all of the land do not seem to want speedway as part of the leisure plans they have for the Showground . -
no mention of a speedway fair on the British motor museum website

As I've said elsewhere, why don't one of the Prem clubs run a second team, jointly underwritten by all 5. There is a chance that fans of the club could be attracted to attend both team's fixtures, rather than trying to attract new fans from scratch at a new venue? -

Sounds like The Showground could be an option for 2026 if things can fall into place quickly, a lot of work to be done but not impossible.
