  1. So if we go to Armadale and beat the Monarchs in the league , do we get to keep them ? Asking for a friend
  2. Welcome away win to start the BSN campaign . Much was made on this forum about how weak we are at reserve , so to get 11 between them on an away track was outstanding .
  3. Could be an Easter spectacular weekend against the Bandits with part one tomorrow night at Ashfield . This is the strongest looking Berwick side for many seasons with two ex GP riders spearheading them , assuming Kildemand is fit of course . They are backed up by a strong middle order and a promising reserve in Sam Hagon . We will have to improve a lot from last Friday to get the better of Berwick tomorrow night , should be a cracker of a meeting though
  4. Though heat 13 was a classic . Disappointed we couldn't win on the night , but at least with Bomber you are guaranteed entertainment if things aren't going the way you'd hoped . Fair play to Edinburgh , impressed with Polis , Armadale might be a different proposition for him though .
  5. Kemp for Castagna does strengthen the Monarchs round Ashfield , plus gives Kemp track time before the real stuff starts next weekend . Palovaara at reserve could be troublesome for us , expect him to get 7 rides . Not sure how the new Monarchs will do , will Murder Polis be murder ? After last week's successful opening weekend for us , I hope we can build more confidence by piling on the points tomorrow night .
  6. Will Murder Polis be available for next Friday ?
  7. You dont like us , fine that's your perogative. I've been to North side a few times now and I'm well away of the cash only policy and have no issue with it . Personally never heard any moans about it . Had a very enjoyable afternoon on the 1st/2nd bend
  8. Very impressed with our heat leader's early season form in that other league
  9. Aye Torun was the last place our paths crossed . Glad you are well , I enjoyed our sessions on the beer at Brough Park .
  10. Trent Leverington had the right idea to cope with the abuse . One day at Glasgow he got off his bike , after the race ended , and went into the crowd to confront the bloke shouting abuse .
  11. We have now . 4th April at Armadale , 11th April at Ashfield
  12. Michael Penfold anyone . But on the subject of Berwick . Stewart has really pulled a rabbit out the hat in Kildemand , what a cracking signing .
  13. If the rumours are true , and this is the team , then it's quite an exciting prospect . Bomber will do what Bomber does , score well and entertain us . Dan Thompson could really kick on next season and become the second heat leader . Leon Flint looked to be finally getting the hang of Ashfield towards the end of the season just past. Kyle Howarth is a proven performer and will ride to his average . Young Mr Boughen could be capable of much improvement. Yes the reserves look a bit on the weak side , but they are young lads and you just never know . I'm confident Freddie Hodder can compete adequately in the home fixtures at least .
  14. Anyway back to the meeting . After watching Zmarslik heave and elbow another rider into the fence on Saturday night , and as usual get away with it . It was a joy watching Harris and Masters give each other room to race and thrill the crowd with amazing four laps of speedway in heats 13 and 15 .
  15. That was an awesome meeting last night , track was good and the riders , well most of them , put on a great show for the public . For us 1 Chris Harris - sublime 2 Jack Smith - mince 3 Anders Rowe - get him signed for next year 4 Matic Ivacic - utter mince 5 Leon Flint - brilliant 6 James Pearson - brilliant 7 Tom Spencer - did as well as we could expect Redcar 1 Charles Wright - rode well , no match for Harris though 3 Danyon Hume - started well before fading 4 Jason Edwards - very impressive 5 Danny King- past it 6 Ben Trigger - did as well as can be expected 7 Jake Mulford- looked very fast The heat 14 tactical sub put the kibosh on our lingering hopes for the bonus , but it was a cracking encounter .
