TBF to drozdz his average of 5.5 in Poland is quiet good baring in mind that in every match his easy race he had drabik in that race, and beating him is no easy feet. He then faced the world's best in his other 2. So for me that's an impressive average. If he can bring that form here then were laughing. We know he will struggle away but most tracks are a fair size now. Only really wolves that's a trick track and even our top boys cant ride that place. When Mauger and the Aces came to newly 'promoted' Ipswich in 1972 the traffic queue into the stadium was miles down the road. Likewise when Poole came to the Showground with Holder and Ward the crowd increased and there was a fantastic atmosphere as well. Only great riders can create that type of buzz imo...

How can anyone say Drodz will never be as good as Woryna? Hes only 21 and Woryna didnt pull up many trees in his last UK stint, hes improved a lot, that's what young riders tend to do its called development, Drodz could develop better or not develop at all who knows at this stage of his career. Riders all develop differently, look no further than Doyle.

Whats not to like? A top 5 with 4 x 7+ pointers including 2 of last season's Number 1s and a current SGP rider, plus a Pole who took the Polish league by storm in 2017 and who has always wanted to ride for Poole. A 2nd Pole plus last season's number 7 both of whom can and will improve their averages!!

We had this with a near weekly petition about a mx practice track. Once we proved that they had complained when there was nobody on site one week none of the names on that petition could ever be taken into account again (which was nearly everybody) and we were granted 364 days planning permission. Asking some of the locals in the village shop one day after all this if the noise was really an issue it was said that most didn't mind but the bloke who organised it all was such a pain in the arse that they all signed to shut him up! It is a landmark new law that will do a lot for motorsport in general with places like Mallory Park and Brands Hatch having major problems with complainants.

No! Part of the attraction of the CL is the arrival of young Aussies with potential to progress to greater things. Would the likes of Doyle, Fricke, Tungate, Masters, etc. have ever graced the CL if there was such a restriction in place when they arrived as promising raw youngsters? I'm getting the sense that the whole new Coventry outfit , riders and officials, is coming together quite nicely. I hope that all the critics who have been moaning about the enterprise at Leicester will see that and make some effort to support THEIR team and club.

Because before every season Poole is always the best 1-7 and everyone else looks poor. Then before every single match he will put up a preview classing Poole as the underdogs.then if Poole win it will be against the odds Happens every season and the vast majority on here just laugh at it really

With Mildenhall, the complaints were about the stock car racing, where the noise went on until the small hours, not the speedway.

Hardly real fans then, if they don't support your promotion just because of 1 rider. Most fans have a rider or two in their side not of their choice but still go to see the speedway. Exactly the same with your football team, when it is rare for a real fan to want every player on the field representing their team.

I,m not kidding, there was 5 aussies at Ytornio to see Barret ride. And they were no family, I asked.

I seem to recall even Somerset had complaints of the noise but when the testers came out on a race night all they could hear was the M5! Good news though for speedway if it is correct.

Yep, I agree with all of that. But, firstly, Matt Ford doesn’t stop at that: he instructs riders not to ride or to have engine failures so he can reduce his team’s average and get a better rider in; and, secondly, he’s instrumental in certain rules to create “fairness” when it suits him (like the re-averaging of GP riders or one over eight) but then immediately takes advantage of out of date averages to sign Woryna and Bedpaniak, rather than suggest they be re-averaged in the interests of fairness.

To be fair, State titles are the only form basis to judge the ability of any Aussie. Usually new comers ride again established UK based Aussies so it is easy to se how they could fare in the UK. to call them all wobblers shows your lack of credibility. There are only a small percentage that actually fail in this country, but most are a welcome addition to our leagues.

We are far too soft on foreigners, How can winning an obscure State title by beating a few wobblers, entitle you to a work visa, unbelievable.
