Chris Louis was on the telephone to the printers at 9.00am on Friday as he had a number of issues with the programme on Thursday, one being the presentation of the race card. The issues are being addressed and an improvement should be noticed on Thursday4 points

Although your post included an emoji, it does nothing to hide the meaning of it . Instead of making jive remarks about the effort the work and money that has obviously gone into the presentation of each of those clubs, you should be complimenting them for trying to make this sport look more professional. When making you predictions you ought to remember, had it not been for Buster there would not be a Premiership league for your cheaply attired riders to compete in4 points

I suppose it is the 'good nature' of decent human beings to be reluctant to 'lay into' the opinion of an ex rider who has suffered enormously at the hands of fate. And we cut him a lot of slack. in the last few weeks the Ben Fund meeting was a reminder of the cruel way in which this dangerous sport can take down the most decent and noble of the speedway fraternity. Guys like Garry, Wilkie, Joe et al. I suppose this Twitter rant, which advocates causing another human being deliberate harm during a race, does show that tragedy doesn't just strike the good guys.4 points

A rider brilliantly blessed with riding talent but sadly deficient in human compassion and common sense.3 points

Now everyone knows Nicki is no angel but Darcy didn’t seem to mind him when he wore a replica suit to help raise money for Darcy.3 points

I am not answerable to you , but as a previous loyal supporter I am still entitled to have my say and you are correct I will not be attending . I am in total shock at what has gone on with the club since the new year, you must be one of a few that are happy with it . Me I am far from happy with it and I will have my say and if that upsets you tough.2 points

Apart from the result, this was a cracking meeting with some brilliant racing on a good slick track in front of a large crowd with the usual contingent of away supporters. Thought we were in for a good stuffing early on but, like another meeting here a couple pf years ago, the Diamonds suddenly turned it around and after a 14 point deficit, the Diamonds got with in 8 points only to lose heat 15 with a 5-1 against. A 12 point defeat was actually decent given the dominance of the Bears in the early 7 heats. In the junior meeting, there was some great racing and good performances from Dicken, Josh , Archie and Danny who was flying. Unlucky start for Sheldon with a dodgy clutch, but he will on song next time out I am sure. Some terrific overtaking at this junior level. Nice to renew our friendships with our usual Bears fans and ChrisHT, who made me and Alan very welcome once again. Thanks for your best wishes. Very impressed at many things last night, a good atmosphere with the fans, great racing, stadium improvements, good even paced meeting and a complete rethink to revitalise the programme and content. The whole evening was a great advert for speedway, with 2 sides who will give a good show everywhere I think. Massive parking, and queues at the turnstiles, even had some pies and peas left when I got there. NB Forgot to mention the fine form of Jordan Stewart. Very hit and miss last year IMO, but if he can continue this form he could prove to be very hard to beat.2 points

Poole at Peterborough 15th April by then no doubt Hans Andersen would of been released for having the wrong colour kevlars to everyone else2 points

Len runs Kent like it's still the 1980's, speedway every week. You have to applaud him for that. The crowd numbers prove it's what people want.2 points

Highly entertaining meeting in front of what looked like to me to be a pretty decent attendance. For Redcar, Stewart was highly impressive while Palm Toft's last to first in heat 10 was the highlight of the night. A word, too, for Jack Smith - a battling performance. Newcastle might yet be a much better prospect than some have suggested particularly if Clegg gets going.2 points

Well that was as good an opening team fixture as you could possibly hope for - the quality of the racing throughout was excellent, with a couple of stunning races. Bears looked like they would run away with it, good fightback by the Diamonds and then a last heat 5-1 gave the Bears a 12 point advantage. Not sure it will be enough but cracking entertainment. For the Bears Wright was superb, MPT excellent (Heat 10 fantastic ride), Stewart looked improved from last year and Ben gave his all as usual. The other 3 all battled hard and showed promising flashes. Looked like a decent team tonight. For the Diamonds the 3 heat leaders started poorly but picked up and Wethers, Lambert and Clegg chipped in. A very good start and a decent sized crowd.2 points

To be fair, you’ve got to admire how Buster’s done this for maximum media exposure. He announced the KL team one by one over several weeks and now he’s sacking the Boro riders one by one. Genius2 points

Happy to take the love and support from those who provided then kick them when it suits. He always was and still is an odious character.2 points

Nicki took Pawlicki wide. Didn't leave him much room at all, and Pawlicki bailed. I'd agree with an exclusion for Pedersen as he ran him up just that bit too much. But nothing to comment on beyond an everyday run-of-the-mill exclusion. As for Ward, well I hate to see him the way he is now. I'd love to have him fit and well and back on a bike racing. I don't want to see any rider suffering the effects of serious injury. But as a person, he was an obnoxious pillock before his accident, and he's still an obnoxious pillock now.2 points

Ward proving once again to be a first class tosspott. stinks of jealousy, Nicki P a three time world champ, multimillionaire and then what has Ward got? a bitter guy thats for sure.2 points

Hugely disappointing display from the Bears tonight - the poor gating of last night obviously carried on tonight, which at a track like Leicester is a recipe for a good tonking. Sounded like a very poor meeting to watch in terms of racing.1 point

Darcey probably thought he was going to play 'Jack the Lad' throughout his career, picking up a few world titles along the way, while putting two fingers up to anyone and everyone. Problem is fate got in the way. The real disturbing aspect of the tweet is that because he's not in a position to do NIkki harm he is, perhaps, suggesting that someone else ought to do it. Someone who Darcey would regard has having the balls to do it, like Darcey himself has and would, hence the little black book.1 point

Like you say Jordan Stewart was I bit hit or miss last season, but he is a talent and has a great style given luck he will be star IMO1 point

You can't be that dumb surely? The race you are complaining about, all riders were at the tapes within 2 minutes. They didn't need the 15 seconds, they started when the clock hit 0.1 point
-
You complained about THIS race, which started bang on time. Gardening is utterly irrelevant as long as riders are ready to go at the conclusion of the two minutes. They could just sit in the pits instead. That would be exciting.1 point

Kurtz and Josh G riding in the opening league 2 meeting of the season. Kurtz is riding with Leszno and Rawicz because he is young enough. Brady got 16 from 6 rides Josh got 10+1 from 51 point

They were left dead at the tapes when off 2 & 4 as were Newcastle when they were off 2 & 4. gates 1 & 3 were by far the best for at least the first two thirds of the meeting. the new starting procedure seemed to have been thrown out of the window in this match. Starting Marshall is supposed to indicate to the ref that he is satisfied riders are ready. not sure how he is supposed to do this, does the dropping of his arms the signal. Green light is supposed to come on BEFORE he walks to the back then the tapes are released. Well that certainly didn't happen. No green light until Starting Marshall was at the rear of the bikes (as per last year). Not sure who was to blame , the ref for not putting the green light on early enough, or the starting marshall for walking back before the green light. Needs to be clarified/ sorted otherwise confusion will reign. That said it didn't spoil what was a very entertaining meeting.1 point

I think we are just about to mirror 1985 onwards.. It could take us half a season to get going, the experienced top end is there and the youth is certainly coming through, we will be the stand out team second half of this season and then dominate thereafter..1 point

It looks like another long established speedway track is going to be consigned to the history books. It's a shame Northside can't be upgraded to allow the club to continue at NL level.1 point
-
Certainly not Peter, It does appear that some folk have a beef with me, not my problem however, as a paying customer I should be able to comment on what is concerning to the future of speedway. You can see for yourself the decline in the gate at Berwick, mainly caused by a less entertaining offer.1 point

Just who are you to tell me what I can and can't say, if I am not happy about something I will say so, sorry if you don't like my comments .1 point

In the wacky world that is British speedway nothing would surprise me i seem to recall in the 70s John Davis was in dispute and rode as a guest for himself1 point

Never mind Cook and Summers tell me more about this new Pie shop extension!. Has Mrs Miggins got Busters ok with this food outlet and is he getting a cut ? When Buster held a fan’s forum meeting after taking over the local football club I well remember his rallying call when challenged over something he didn’t like. ’you know where the exit is’ You have been warned1 point

Sundstrom, Iversen, Jepsen Jensen or Buczkowski. As much as I like Gomolski, he is not a heat-leader. I will not be attending a single match this season. Buster can bugger off.1 point

I'd rather say it was a typical Pawlicki fall, like he has performed many times. Certainly nothing to justify Darcy Ward's twitter comment, what's wrong with him? There nothing dirty about Nicki's riding in this race.1 point
