Greaves is not missing any Redcar meeting. He intends to drive from the Glasgow fixture to Luton Airport and fly to Gdansk. Ride in Saturday's meeting , on borrowed machinery from ex Bear R.Konopka, then fly back Sunday morning to ride at Sheffield. All at his own expense. Now that is commitment for you .5 points

Drama to the end, some brilliant racing! Heats 3 & 5 to name 2! Doyley has big balls to blast round Pieszczek in heat 15!!! Ellis Perks rode his hart out for 3 + 1...need to find another partner for him ASAP! Ippp deserved a point!4 points

I think some of the inconsistent refereeing, especially at Birmingham, seems to come from the fact that the referees box isn't quite in line with the startgate. Twice Shanes has been denied an obvious higher position because of this reason imo. Overall, another good meeting, some close racing, passing, which is fast becoming the norm at Birmingham. Glasgow deserved their win on the night but they certainly knew they'd been in a meeting. No negatives from me about last night and was brilliant to see so many Glasgow fans make the long trip South. Hope they enjoyed their evening, the ones I spoke to were a credit to their club. Hope we see them again soon!4 points

You're a troll, saying Swindon is a slum has nothing to do with the topic, your first post was to say swindon are hopeless, if you want to be taken seriously perhaps you should explain your reasoning for this statement, otherwise it's blatant trolling.4 points

I know we could have grabbed a draw but we was never in front in the match and beforehand I would have happily taken a point from this .... we must be all but in the play offs now3 points

Seem to recall the Redcar Promoter(s) being called names for telling a rider he was going to be replaced ( Richard Hall ) before his last match and now people complaining for NOT fore warning a rider he was being replaced. Can't please all of the people all of the time.3 points

And we all thought you were a Jeremy Corbyn Fan. I'm not really the Catalyst, im Prince Charles.3 points

Josh Auty how many times has he ridden this track he’s supposed to be a no 1 or there abouts why can he not perform away from home after all these years..Somerset track pretty similar to ours wide open spaces and can’t perform..don’t give me slick Somerset track ewr has been slick all season and has performed...I expect more frm a so called number 1..what is the problem???3 points

He was riding the bike. You know, those things that go round in circles in front of you. He had the best seat in the house.2 points

If Josh G came up to you after the meeting one on one and told you what he told the press conference would you call him a liar?2 points

" Filth from Cook ", "Cook filthy rider " should be investigated " .... Turns out to be completely different story , courtesy of Josh G2 points

Well done boys! Yet another meeting we’ve taken something from. Like I said earlier, fancy us against any side in this league over two legs. Great effort.2 points

One of the best meetings for a long time with Swindon saving themselves with 3 last gasp passes in the Meeting . I give Doyle a lot of stick at times and he look below his best again tonight and never thought he would come out for heat 15 but he did and pull off an amazing pass on the last lap making lines on the track that put him in danger of losing second place for the whole 4 laps . On a negative note another poor crowd on a lovely summers night against decent oppo and that has to be a worry going forward .Swindon as a team thou they are good to watch won't make a dent in in this league unless they can a get a decent reserve . It's bad enough at home but even worst away .2 points

Yeah was good stuff. At least 3 top drawer races. Loads of other close ones. And of course a Robins win!! The ones who said Doyley doesn't do heat 15 or try before a GP look a bit silly now!! He meant that!2 points

Well done guys,,, yet another point on the road. When riders have off nights the others step up2 points

Why he was signed as a 3rd heatleader and up until Tuesday he wasn't even scoring as a good second string. Redcar are only doing what they think is best for them and i applaud them for that, the decision to axe him would have been made before Tuesday. If he had performed as he did on Tuesday prior to that he may still have been there.2 points

Because any thread started by that troll gets trashed from now on....its an unwritten rule2 points

You do know it's the same person as the other trolls? Specially set up to ruin the decent Swindon threads2 points

To be fair, the final score line on Monday flattered BV - they were definitely the second best on the night and by some margin #justsaying2 points

Ayres is one of the bright lights of British speeedway a guy who would of fitted in perfectly in yesteryear.2 points
-
Not really about Jack's prowess as a speedway rider but after saying this the guy is only 20, he went through what must have been a hugely confidence sapping season at Swindon last year. He has probably outscored Nathan Greaves on most occasions at home so far this term but Nathan has been much more effective away. There is time for him to make his mark yet.2 points

Well the Poole haters would be on here by now if Poole had done this2 points

Danny was superb for the Witches on Monday at Boro. Sharp from the start and quick and competitive during the race A great character too that enhances your night at the speedway. Always enjoy seeing him in the line up2 points

Great gesture. Did he comment on what good condition the motorway was in?2 points

Yep, my bad in this case It would be entertaining, only problem is Gav likely will get himself too wound up and get banned. When he stays calm he can make very reasoned posts.. and certain Poole fans don't like that reasoning :).2 points
-
I like Gav. He amuses me. As my own team won't make the play offs now I just hope it's an Ippo Poole final purely for the entertainment we will get on here!!2 points

At least Josh has admitted Cook hit bumps , ran into him and apologised What might be interesting is if Shovlar and his band of blue tinted gormless lemmings apologised for saying Cook was dirty I doubt it ..... clueless fools1 point

The revamped team was probably being put together over a week ago and then sent to BSPA for the manditory 3 days notice. if a rider has a great meeting during those days it is hard lines for that rider, but the club can't undo it and then affect say 5 or 6 riders. What's done is done and life goes on. Tough on the rider but he wouldn't have been in this situation if his scoring had been better. I thought the 'text' matter had been discussed out in about February. Text is often used, as pointed out in those discussions and is standard because of the speed that information can be 'transmitted`. When Nike dropped us in, and Steve just happened to become available with Worky's closure, it could have been a text to Steve, we will never know. If the club had waited for Palovaara to return calls, he could have got wind of the new circumstance early with cries of 'so why didn't you text him instead' would have been the common comment on here. Losers either way.1 point

Agreed and everyone knows that but the idiots who run BV and speedway agreed to run on nights that fans clearly don’t want to go to and thats losing them fortunes...!! You couldn’t make it up. If only the people running the show read and took onboard what’s on here things might change, BUT don’t hold your breath! It’s all to late.1 point

Are you only bothered about winning, then? Do you not attend because you enjoy the sport itself? In years gone by, it never seemed to matter that much, fans of the sport went week in, week out mainly for the love of speedway And there was possibly more attachment to individual riders rather than the teams, highlighted when the big individual meetings came around Trips down to that London for World Final, Internationale, etc were the big occasions Of course, you had to attend to see the sport, as it wasn't all over the tv and other screens then1 point

Someone showing an interest in the sport on a speedway discussion forum and that's all you can come up with. Very sad.1 point
