Turbo Twins?? Chris Holder and Darcy Ward were given that title for a reason. Giving that name to the Thompson's is the same as putting Ant & Dec in the same company as Morecambe & Wise.6 points

Feel for King, it isn’t just tonight he hasn’t been on it all season. Need to support him though because he’s a damn good rider at this level. On another note, what a class act Doyle is. Dragged us out of a hole more than once. Is there another rider around that’s not just as good as him, but gives his all every time in our country? Worth his weight in gold this fella.3 points

So, what your saying is that 'crescent girl' is actually a dick?3 points

Christ no, not even on a 2.00 average, I’d rather we ran with three riders in a heat.3 points

Everything would've been fine if Dan Gilkes didn't have that awful crash. Make up our own rules and bring Simon Lambert in as a rising star I say.2 points

What's happened to Torun's track? It was a great race track with lots of passing but now it's just a gate and go track like Prague.2 points

All I can say is the girl anchor is sizzling hot.2 points

I'm not questioning that at all, clearly a hell of a lot of money has been spent up there, and I hope to be impressed by the facilities one day when I finally get the chance to go2 points

I think the fact Ashfield is being used for the GP Challenge is a fair indication of the standard of the track (and stadium facilities too)2 points

Hopefully Berwick will have learned the lesson of a few ago where they booked Lee Complin as a guest then gave him and the rest of the riders little or no material to work with.2 points

Grey area? Depends if the rider as used Just For Men or not!2 points

I doubt very much that any money changes hands although if anyone organises a collection to get rid then I'll get my wallet out.2 points

Yes, all fair points, when i say the track is not conducive to junior racing I am referring to the lesser (junior) riders of a CL team that i see trying to get around Leicester. Nobody stands out, I think it's fair to say even the highly rated Anders Rowe has failed to get to grips with the track and even the likes of Drew Kemp & Jordan Palin have failed to ever show anything. Anyway, you may just have sold it to me you rascal, I'll see what the teams are like after Saturday and what the weather is like on Sunday and may just pop along to see what all the fuss is about2 points

I’d have been happy with a point before the start but left feeling a bit frustrated it wasn’t more in the end. Two really poor starts from Niels in 10 & 12 cost him. The outside line didn’t work all meeting so what on earth Jorgensen was thinking in heat 14, god only knows. Just left the inside open lap after lap and eventually Riss took the invite. Doyle was head and shoulders above everyone and never really looked like being beaten. Even when behind, only a matter of time before hitting the front. Riss looking more and more like the rider we know he can be. Worst I’ve seen King by a mile. For the Stars, impressed again with Lewi and surprised he didn’t get the nod in heat 15, though Lawson did spring into life a bit after being quiet early on. How Jorgensen didn’t stack it after picking up in heat 10 I’ll never know. The team is looking solid though and other than Wolves away, been competitive everywhere. Mom - R/R for Starke. Match winning 8+1, what a stroke of luck for Ipswich he didn’t make it2 points

Impossible, as we have informed so many times he doesn't do forums and the like.2 points

The youth championship was in the fixture list at the start of the season. It's been in the programme every week. It was announced multiple times at the track v. Poole. Agree it's poor the websites is not updated regularly but the meeting was well advertised elsewhere2 points

I think the sport on league level has reached a point of its needs a mechanical overall, it’s becoming more like F1 by the year but a poor man’s F1, the product this year has been very poor in all countries but nothing will change, the sport is run by the riders and the tuners for the riders and the tuners1 point

No it's not, its technical!!!,,, maybe that's why it catches many out these days?1 point

Not even related ….The THOMPSON TWINS has to have the correct title .……… bloodline heritage supersedes Poole propaganda1 point

We still have it, we use it before meetings manly, to be honest it's most effective when there is a good amount of dirt on the track, but the grader is best at moving the dirt back down to the inside, it may get more use as the weather improves which allows more dirt to be added, which in turn allows better watering, as it stays in longer,1 point

paid 64 pts from 5 Home meetings imagine if he had the right setup1 point

No paramedic on site FFS! This guy should have his promoters licence taken from him... absolute disgrace to the sport1 point

I am surprised that there is not the same rule in speedway as there is for road racing where long hair must be contained within the riders helmet or clothing. I know you have the cut outs that should kill an engine quickly in the case of a crash to me there is still plenty of risk of long hair getting tangled in moving bike parts and causing a really nasty injury.1 point

Mathias Thornblom looked decent in the Swedish Elite league match last night. Mixing it with some top riders. Doesn't look to have a Polish place although someone will probably snap him up if that's the sort of form he's in. Failed at Berwick a good few seasons ago but looked CL heat leader standard last night. Albeit on a vastly different track to Newcastle. Swedes not riding in Poland would fit the bill for the CL as there are hardly any Tuesday fixtures and no Thursday fixtures but too expensive for the Diamonds??1 point

Having a good season in Premiership so probably 6.05 x 1.5 = 9.081 point

The rule book is on line and I can’t see anything on hair. As I said, I’m sure the rule was dropped some time ago. Similarly, there can’t be any restrictions elsewhere in Europe as Antonio Lindback has had long hair for years.1 point

Not sure if anyone else noticed the track was through to the base entering bend 3 last night. Hope that can be sorted out before it gets worse. I am not a Doyle fan in the slightest,,,, but the bloke is still head and shoulders above in this league,,,and he is defo winning me over.1 point

And bring their current team average down again to 42 pts from the 43.26 they currently are? They can replace Rowe with a rider up to the same average but if they change two they go back to the original 42pt building limit. Can't see where they will get two riders from to improve what they have.1 point

Could Jeremy Doncaster be worth a gamble? If he finds 1988 form you could make a run for the playoffs1 point

Yes I know the answer - very little demand probably due to their relatively low crowds and admission price. Slow connection when required to print receipts. Two of the three meetings streamed were from empty stadiums with no other demands on the upload connection - but not without incident. Birmingham I don't know as I was busy elsewhere in the stadium that day and don't know what specific measures BSN had in place. Seem to remember complaints on here - but that's not usually a true measure of reality. Feel free to invent a parallel reality to fit your agenda.1 point

Do you have to pay to park at Leicester? Free at Berwick We have the cheapest championship prices that I’ve found to be honest, taking in parking, entrance and a programme1 point

I'll be at Leicester for this one, Leicester double win on the cards & will be interesting to see how many supporters stay on for the NDL meeting. This car of 3 bods will be staying for both We support all levels of the sport1 point

Maybe that's why senior riders very seldom do a lap of honour, it's an extra 25% in fuel,,, or maybe tha just keeping an eye on tha carbon footprint?1 point
