Does the same apply to Ben Barker then?

Slight change of track but I went to Somerset on Friday and went on to the oak tree arena site, they have a greggs, McDonald’s, screwfix and ford to the right as you drive in off the main road now and the old bar on the first bend is an energy company’s office now but they havent touched where the track was,you can still see the outline on google earth, so why couldn’t they have kept the speedway there ?

Maybe Plymouth are ready and the deal is done,just not released details yet. I think most Plymouth fans know who the final rider is not my place to post anything I only like revealing Poole's riders before they do😉

I had a chat to Olle at Lakeside a few years before he died . Well into his 80’s by then but full of beans, and a really great character. Speedway is poorer without him.

If a reputable builder offered to lay your patio, you might be excited. If it was Fred West, you'd perhaps be a little more worried.

I think it’s totally fair that if they’ve asked Ben Trigger to work on his fitness and professionalism to ask the same about Ben Barker, and I mean it in the nicest way that last year was a poor year for Barker who has ridden at the very top of this sport and if Plymouth are to have a good season then they will really need Ben B to step up and become the 2nd heat leader and increase his average. I agree that Ben B is a great rider to watch and always gives it 110 percent, I’m also pleased to see Ben T get a championship place and hope the gladiators have a great season.

Maybe they could follow the second worst scenario and have challenge matches against available teams in both NDL and NDT. Even if they were only Home fixtures for Mildenhall as the opposition couldn't fit a meeting in. Then after a season of challenges they move into NDL/NDT in 2026 in whatever way that level of the sport pans out. Obviously the worst scenario is not running.

I will imagine it will be the same format as last season which was the highlights from the meeting; which in my opinion is the best way to package the sport to attract new fans.

Glasgows original team involved both lads in Glasgows 2025 team ,however a miscount of 0.01 prevented this team to go ahead and changes were forced.

I think that's a bit of wishful thinking. They're not going to pay for OB facilities and not show it on their main channels on a Monday night when there's no football on, and correct me if I'm wrong but TNT don't show any Monday night football anyway.

Maybe also it's because Quest don't show it until midnight on the Tuesday
