  1. Sorry to disappoint you but Im not the argumentative type. I make a comment and you quote it and then make the comment about some people thinking everything is okay in BSI world in a sarcastic manner - you can hardly blame me for making, as you call it, 'that leap'! We will just have to agree to disagree on when the dirty linen should come out. Personally I think for one of the official organisations to come out with anything prior to CONCLUSIVE FINAL findings would be completely wrong and unprofessional and cause even more damage. The professional thing to do would be to comment once the hearing has been held imo
  2. Aye right SCB ven you know thats guff. The rules say he is a 7 pointer (fair enough) and thats what he comes in as but he is a kid setting out in the sport and unlike some I can be realistic and see the proper picture. I'm sure you are enjoying the 'bites' tho because even you arent blind enough to believe what you are trying to spout here!
  3. If you take him for what he is and not for the unrealisitic position Glasgow's situation/promotion have thrust him into he is imo doing well. He has never ever looked off the pace, tries hard and is learning from others. For a reserve - which is what he should be - in his first few meetings in the PL to be the only rider to lower Kurtz's colours (albeit with Rusty's help) I reckon is pretty decent going
  4. You seem to think that anyone who thinks anything different from you is a BSI sympathiser - need to loose a chip or two there. Look on it like a case going to court - you wouldnt expect the judge to tell you before the evidence is heard what the verdict will be. Any regulatory body should go through the correct procedures and whether it fits other peoples agenda's or not, that includes not washing the dirty linen in public before its been taken to the laundry
  5. Which in my opinion is correct as they have not as yet gone through the entire investigation stage
  6. whats really sad about all the Darcy Ward stuff is that KK went out and won what from comments appears to have been a decent Grand Prix (I never saw it) and doesnt get a mention. I had to go searching for the result Well done KK
  7. Perfectly true cyclone but when you see the same freeloaders going in week in week out with their mates and know fine well they dont fall into that category it is hard to swallow. Especially when they have been known to post 'I once did such and such.... so why should I pay....' I wish I had known! It would have been nice to see him again. I was at my usual bit, just me and Davey there today. Hope he's well Im sure you will have treated him to your usual hospitality! No harm in it but I refer the honorable gentleman to my first reply about this on page 5....
  8. I said to his dad afterwards I couldnt figure out how the hell Nick pulled off that double pass - it looked a cert 5-1 then whooosh..... Cant believe you didnt mention Olly Allen though Paulco - he was awesome today. Like you there are no complaints on the outcome - the champions elect were deserved winners
  9. I know Gazc can stick up for himself MD but he is not the only one who has noticed this and quite a few of us have over the past couple of seasons voiced those very concerns. I dont know if Gaz was one or not but it is something that rears its head fairly often. We joke it was one of the reasons we stopped buying a car park ST as it was having an adverse affect on my passengers blood pressure every week watching people sneak in the back gate!
  10. This might have got lost now the topic has gone on a number of pages but it puts things in words so well it deserves being highlighted. For those going on about 'did you never make a mistake when you were young' 'he's only 22' - well if its platitudes we are playing with kids of 16 fought and died for their country etc etc Yes I made mistakes although I dont recall making one so big that it would put someones life at risk or my career. I'm a tad older than 22 and I still make mistakes. But not out of wreckless abandon and total lack of thought to others safety. You do the crime...... He IS a fantastic rider there is no doubt about that. But he has just been caught out putting other riders lives at risk by breaking rules that HE signed up to abide by and which are there to try and improve rider safety. IF he is not mature enough to understand and abide by what he signed up for then he shouldnt ride. Simples (sorry Mr Orlov) I genuinely hope someone can step in and get Darcy under control because it would be a hell of a loss to speedway if they couldnt. But that has to be AFTER he has served his punishment I was so tempted to ask if that was distraught as a newt cos I can be childish but I wont. Thing is WHY is he distraught? because he was caught? And what about the other two big occasions already referred to on here when he was also said to be 'distraught'. Lip service comes to mind When I hit 'like' I meant I liked your sentiment Steve not your broken thigh!
  11. Throwing a wee paddy more like. Oh look, lets make up some comment, call it a 'rumour' thats going round and see if we can do damage and get some people to believe it. I see Karen Dunbar is still popular then.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EE4alauiS4 His mechanics Gary Beaton who I dont think ever bought from Emil Lets be honest though even if we had a full team things were always favouring Somerset, they are a top side
  12. when you are perfect and write fluently in MY mother tongue you can be all pathetic and have a go at my grammer in yours Even I can tell your opening post is full of grammatical errors in your own tongue so it looks like you have a very long way to go
  13. You could use that argument against ANY recreational drug. You can't assume its performance enhancing Similarly you can't assume until the full story is known that it is intentional....just ask a certain British skier about the American version of Vicks sinex. Be interesting to see what comes out in time
  14. people are expecting far too much of a young lad taking his first steps in British speedway and yes I know its Glasgow Speedways fault - but its not Viktors Anders Thomsen has been mentioned on here and in reality Viktor is in the same boat as Anders from the newbie point of view. When Anders came over he was on assessed 7 but in the main body and all we looked for him to do was get experience and be up to speed for reserve for this season. Realistically, that is all we can expect of Viktor and next season is when we should judge. Its not his fault we have been shown to be incompetent with team building. He is on borrowed machinery at the moment as it proved physically impossible to get his own over in time for the meetings - Daniel Nermarks equipment I was told from a reliable source - and certainly was on the pace at Ashfield. Can we not just split the 'no 1' discussion and the 'Viktor Palovaara' discussion in two and give him the chance with what he REALLY is - this years attempt to get another Anders Lets give the lad a chance for who HE is and not for the failures that went before him at Ashfield Just my tuppence worths
  15. thats the easy bit - now pick the no1. Oh for Shane Parker to come back! Could you imagine how he would have brought these kids on especially as they are clearly eager. (Mind you sending Kasper to Grievesy for gating lessons might not be a bad idea!)
  16. From speaking to those who were at Berwick we appear to have 2 Rusty's as well! I fully admit I wasnt overly excited about his signing but boy has he proved me wrong and I reckon he just edges it for me as my favourite this season. Anders is pushing hard though - in more ways than one! Showed Ryan Douglas he wasnt scared to take it or give it on Monday!
  17. So tempted to be cheeky and ask if you ever fancied becoming a ref To be fair there were so many shennanigans going on at the start I am not surprised that a good number of people I believe missed it but it did happen, honest! It might have been my angle but to try and excuse the track member a little I didnt notice the red lights come on until extremely late when Douglas went down in heat 6 and I suspect the red flag was shown first then too but not so sure on that one. Just realised that I havent said it before about the meeting but Rusty was bleedin awesome to watch on Monday night. Theo and Anders were very good too but Rusty's outside swoops and cuts up the inside were just great to watch and the type of thing that would get people back to speedway so well done to the track staff on giving the conditions to allow it (although again Mr Dishington I believe wasnt so impressed with the track - but then we've already established his eyesight isnt very reliable!)
  18. Klindts exc!usion was simple.....he had been lapped by Rusty before he started! Fully agree on the unsatisfactory starts, they should have been stamped down on much earlier. I had thought 5 were warned, thought at one stage they were trying to get one warning each! Don't referees normally have a word in the team managers ears after a couple? No one seems to have mentioned though that one of the track staff actually showed the red flag at the end of the first lap, if being totally objective I would say that would be a pretty good reason for a re run especially as Douglas slowed down at it. The referee seemed to miss that too. He seems to miss rather a lot
  19. surprised that no one has mentioned heat 15! I think there may have been a protest or two had the result not already been decided by then!
  20. I know the coverage is going down under but it is meant to be BRITISH Eurosport so it would be nice if they were to get maybe even half as much mention as the Aussies
  21. Aww come on - you've seen the start girls in Poland - obviously Boris must have too
  22. ah like a typical speedway watcher coalman I dont know but I havent been yelling change the team either - just thinking it lol
