  14. There is a big meeting coming up in Krsko on May 19th. It's a SAX Speedway Super Cup 2007 and is organized by a local company called SAX. Here is the lineup announced so far: Jason Crump Jaroslaw Hampel Bjarne Pedersen Rune Holta Lee Richardson Jesper B. There is one spot in the lineup left to be filled, and from what I've heard they held discussions with Greg Hancock and Tomasz Gollob.
  15. According to speedway.org Zabik will ride in semifinal 1 in Blijham (Netherlands) on June 17th, while Dryml will ride in semifinal 3 in Gorican (Croatia) on August 18th.

  18. He is still a Slovenian. AFAIK, he's been trying to get a Hungarian passport for a couple of years now, but he hasn't suceeded so far. Yesterday I found out that Hungarian motorcycling federation again sent a request to Slovenian federation to give them approval to issue Ferjan a Hungarian racing licence. According to the FIM rules, this is needed when one national federation wants to issue a licence to a rider who is a citizen of another country. Article 70.2.1 of the FIM Sporting code says: A FIM Licence may be issued to a foreign rider, after the FMN to whom the application is made has obtained the approval (release) of the FMN of the country of which he is a national or in which the applicant is a permanent resident. Such approval will be given only once for the period of validity of the licence. Requests for any additional international licence for the same period to another FMN are prohibited. Because of that request, I think that Ferjan still doesn't have Hungarian passport, otherwise Hungarian could issue a licence to him without the approval of Slovenian federation.
  19. Hello everyone After my previous post, there were some modifications and additions to the calendar, which I have now added to my post. I can also report the lineups of Slovenian clubs this season: AMTK Ljubljana Matej Zagar Jernej Kolenko Maks Gregoric Matic Voldrih AMD Krsko Izak Santej Matija Duh Samo Kukovica Davor Volk Aleksander Conda Aljosa Remih (his first competitive season) ST Lendava Denis Stojs These are the riders that will compete in national championship rounds. There are of course also some other riders (in all 3 clubs) that are practising, but are not ready yet for the official competitive racing. AMZS has also declared most of the riders that will represent Slovenia in FIM and UEM championships: GP qualifiers Jernej Kolenko (seeded to the semifinal in Ljubljana) Izak Santej Denis Stojs Maks Gregoric World junior championship Matic Voldrih - other riders will be announced after the first round of junior championship on April 8th European championship Jernej Kolenko Izak Šantej - one place (in Togliatti) is still open European pairs championship semifinal Jernej Kolenko Izak Šantej Denis Štojs European junior championship Matic Voldrih Samo Kukovica Slovenian national team that will compete in World Cup qualifier will be declared at the end of April
  20. There was supposed to be one of the rounds of Slovenian-Austrian-Croatian-Hungarian junior championship in St.Johann on May the 15th, but I think this meeting was moved to July. But as spanner47 has already said, german and austrian websites still list a meeting on that date in St.Johann, so I guess that they will stage some sort of open meeting.
  21. This is the website of the TV: http://www.tv-rb.ru/ And here are the links to the online stream: -on website: http://www.tv-rb.ru/modules.php?name=tv -mms stream (can be watched with Windows Media Player): mms://media.tv-rb.ru:8080/ I've looked on the today's schedule of this TV and they have the following on speedway today: 19.30 - 21.30 World championship on motorcycle races on an ice. 22.00 - 22.10 Diary of the World championship on motorcycle races on an ice. This is probably in Ufa's local time. And according to this: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=356 Ufa is in GMT+5 or CET+4 hours time zone. That means that the program should start at 15.30 CET.
  22. I think that the doctor didn't allow him to ride in the meeting. From what I understand, Posa's blood pressure was too high. But don't quote me on that one.
  23. Khomitsevich fell in the A final and I think Arkhipov had an Ef in the B final. According to the post on russian forum the A final was very interesting. Krasnikov took the lead, Ivanov was second, Khomitsevich third and Bogdanov fourth. Then Krasnikov had some technical problems which allowed Ivanov and Khomitsevich to pass him. These two then fought a very hard battle for the win. Coming out of the final bend Khomitsevich hit Ivanov's bike and fell! Krasnikov came from behind and rode straight into Vitalij's bike, was thrown over the handlebars and crossed the finishing line in second place! Bogdanov came third. After the incident there was long discussion whether to rerun the A final, but at the end the refeere decided that the A final will not be repeated and that the results stand. Just for the record: I think that "the famous" Wojciech Grodzki was the referee today in Ufa.
